Cellar, malt and some hops in both aroma and flavor, and there’s some grass as well in the flavor. Thin to medium body and a fruity finish with mostly apples. Strange brew. Honey color, no head. Only a touch of honey in the aroma. Also honey in the grainy flavor. Thin with a touch of yeast. Hardly any carbon. A beer with quality problems. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 11, 2005 Golden in colour with a thick creamy off-white head. Light malt overwelmed by ultra-fresh honey. Nice crisp malt with nice german hops at beginning, finishing with lots of sweetness, a bit too much actually. Lighter bodied. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 5, 2005 A hazy orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of yeast. The flavor is sweet with a very strong presence of heather honey, leading to a dry spicy end. It lacks honey in the aroma. chriso (4796), London, Greater London, England
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 1, 2005 Bottle, at GBBF, August 2005. Hazy, golden colour. The honey does come through in the aroma here, perhaps because the base beer is not so assertive. Unfortunately, its not very distinguished either. The beer is a bit fizzy, and rather too soft. Pleasant enough, if you like weak honey solution, but not too exciting.
