3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A hazy orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of yeast. The flavor is sweet with a very strong presence of heather honey, leading to a dry spicy end. It lacks honey in the aroma.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle, at GBBF, August 2005. Hazy, golden colour. The honey does come through in the aroma here, perhaps because the base beer is not so assertive. Unfortunately, its not very distinguished either. The beer is a bit fizzy, and rather too soft. Pleasant enough, if you like weak honey solution, but not too exciting.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Flavour very Dutch, with loads of citrus and yeast. Bready flavour, no honey what so ever is noticable.

1.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Honey-wise light brown body. Hazy, with a thin layer of soft beige sediment on the bottom of the bottle. Thin, a bit fizzy head that turnes flat in a moment. No signs of life. Looks rather like a mead or a liquor. No appeal in the appearance though. The aroma is dominated by an unpleasant mix of rubber, rust, medicine and a hint of honey. Smells like a stale honey from a dusty jar with an oxidized metal lid with a rotten rubber band. The same holds for the flavor. Some strange dusty bitterness comes through as it warms up. Looks like a bad (infected) brew, the same as jbrus has had. Nothing wrong is likely to have happened to the bottle itself: bought in the town of the brewery, kept properly for 2 weeks only. I sincerely wish the young brewery will take care of the quality of the beers.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottled. Aroma is dusty, bisquit, hints of honey strongly like freshly fermenting wort. Hazy, dark yellow, small off-white head, no lace. Sweet start but this goes away, honey, spices which get very strong in the finish. Pretty bitter but not hopbitter. I think itís the honey or from the spices. The spices remind me of a hospital smell. Medium, little sticky body. I have another bottle. Maybe this one has gone bad. I shall re-rate it soon.

Bottle@GBBF 05í. Not a lot happening, except for a slightly honey sweetness and a touch of alcohol. Slightly sticky texture. A little thin, not much depth of flavour.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled - GBBF 2005. A slightly hazy golden coloured beer. A really sweet aroma presumably from the honey. The taste is fruity and sweet. Quite nice really in spite of the promise of it being a honey pilsener.
