Bottle at Arendsnest. Plummy brown colour with nice head. This is really syrupy. Lots of dried fruits and sugar taste. But just too strong due to the 10% ac.

(Bottled) Hazy dark reddish brown with a small, lacy head. Dried and fresh fruit and berries in the aroma. Flavor is dried-fruity, lightly oxidized, caramely-malty, burned-sugary, with quite low bitterness. Alcohol perfectly hidden. Medium to full body, lowish carbonation. Reminds me of Ecaussinnes Ultrabrune - maybe not quite as refined, but pleasant and warming. 4337

Bottle 250ml.
Clear dark amber color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is roasted, caramel, nutty, dark berry, raisin. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is metalic. [20091114]

Unclear amber with no head. Sweet and somewhat oxydized aroma with that also had notes of roasted malt and caramel. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, caramel and toffee. Alco burn towards the end.

Bottled. A murky amber beer with no head. The aroma has notes of fruit and yeast as well as a bit of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, over ripe fruits, and dusty hops, leading to a dry yeasty finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottle, bought @ ’t Arendsnest, Amsterdam.
Pours light hazy dark amber with no head. Aroma is sweet, rye bread, a touch of chocolate and viniousness. Low carbonation, fat oily mouthfeel. Fat, sweet sugary flavour, vinious, caramel, toffee. A bit alcoholic. Not really my thing.
