A light rose color with a fresh raspberry flavor. The aroma is filled with undertones of fruity acidity. The taste is blended with delicate, sparkling clean and natural taste.
Formerly brewed by Liefmans/RIVA for export, now made at Ecaussinnes.

Bottle: Red color, pink head. Nose of dry raspberry powder and vitamin C. The flavor is tart with a sweet fruity dry note. The finish is balanced, but this has no depth of flavor. Just basic sweet fruity character and no complexity. I emphasize tart, not sour.

Almost seems like a raspberry soda, pours with a pink head, quite carbonated, sweet. I liked it, just have to be in the mood for it.

Pour is pinkish purple with a slightly purple head...smell is dry and funky at first, then sour and raspberry...taset is sweet with juice and artificial sweetner...some raspberry I guess, but maybe just because they tell me it is there...

Medium rose head, deep clear red colour. Raspberry aroma is quite intense, tangible feet away. Mighty sweet flavour. Not bad, but not beer.

Clear fizzy dark cherry color with a medium creamy pink head. Aroma of sweet raspberries and lots of sugar. Sweet raspberry flavor, very fizzy.

375ml bottle from Bev Mo La Mesa. Pours a dark pink/light red color with a pinkish colored head. Aroma and flavor of rassberries.

A ruby red pour with a moderate amount of a pink, foamy head. An over-powering sweetness jumps into your nose. Lots of raspberries. The taste is very candy-like. Way too sweet. It is almost like raspberry syrup. I might try it over a bowl of vanilla ice cream.

Bottle: Deep ruby, hazy, large foamy light pink head, spotty lacing.   Combination raspberry wax and plastic on the nose.   Smells very candyish, but in one of those wax bottle candies.   Definitely raspberry up front, sweet but not cloying, with a slight waxy flavor.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Finishes is a little twangy, lingering raspberry sweetness, but has a bit of funk to it... like leather maybe.   Meh, tiz okay, more fruity than most other fruit beers at least.   Certainly more like a malternative than a beer.

(375 ml corked and caged bottle: $4.49 at BevMo in La Jolla, CA) While Tropicale and Peche tasted like fruit juice and high-fructose corn syrup, at least with the Framboise, we’re starting to get into something that resembles a Belgian fruit beer. I repeat, starting. This is still very much a sweet fruit beverage, very sugary and syrupy, but there’s a modest tartness to help balance the sweetness with some efficacy. And the raspberry flavor really does taste like raspberries for the most part. Unfortunately, I’m also getting a fair amount of something that tastes like plastic table cloth to me. Sweet raspberry and more plastic table cloth in the nose. Despite the modest tartness, this is still fairly cloying because the tartness quickly fades off the palate. There is a slight tightening of my jaw muscles, so it’s not all just sugar. Like the others, carbonation shows a quick burst at the beginning of each sip and then it’s gone. Ruddy brown color is dark enough that I can’t see through the center of the beer, but I can at the edges. Pink-white head rises to a full inch in the tulip glass, settling to a filmy layer and wide ring, and leaving a fair amount of patchy lacing. Take away that plastic aroma and flavor and I might enjoy this a little bit, but as it is, I find it almost as bad as the Peche. But even beyond that, it’s just really sickeningly sweet after awhile.

Fantastic raspberry nose from the bottle. Pours a gorgeous medium to dark red ruby color. Slightly cloudy. Strong raspberry flavor through out. Very sweet. Slight bubblegum flavor towards the end which is somewhat distracting.
