Ambre was an excellent beer heavy with spices (paradise seeds (peppery), corriander and curacao). Very aromatic.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy mahogny with a creamy beige head. Strong fudge malt aroma, with butterscotch, some nutty notes, and earthy hops. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, good balance with a long dry finish.

Draught @ Les Brasseurs de la Grand Place/BrewPub. Nutty hoppy nose. Pours amber clear colour. Creamy hoppy vanilla and spicy. Light body with some cloying and syrupy texture.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy ruby with a small, off-white head. Loads of toffee in both aroma and flavour along with some milkiness. Some grassy hoppiness.

Draft at the brewery: poured a brilliant clear copper with a medium beige head. Light malt and hop aroma. Mild yeast. Flavor is the same. Light caramel with some yeast and a touch of hops. Mild sweetness with a moderate sour finish. Good.
