Strong fudge malt aroma, with butterscotch, some nutty notes, and earthy hops. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, good balance with a long dry finish. Hazy ruby with a small, off-white head.
Loads of toffee in both aroma and flavour along with some milkiness.
Some grassy hoppiness. MrRomero (1879), Wiesbaden-Biebrich, Germany Sep 3, 2006 Draft at the brewery: poured a brilliant clear copper with a medium beige head. Light malt and hop aroma. Mild yeast. Flavor is the same. Light caramel with some yeast and a touch of hops. Mild sweetness with a moderate sour finish. Good.
