Jan 1, 2007 On tap at the brewpub. Burgundy brown colour witha smallish, lacing offwhite head. Fruity malt aroma. Good fruity flavours, hints of raisins, good bitterness. Medium to full body. Quite a good effort for Christmas.

Dec 20, 2006 Draught @ Kerstbierfestival 2006 in Essen, BE. Medium brown color with a average off-white heat. Clear, with a medium paate. Aroma is spices, yeast and malt. Flavor is sweet, malt with a nice balance of bitternes.

Dec 17, 2006 Draught Ruby-shot brown beer with a small head. Chocolate, dark leaves, coffee, malts and a hint of speculoos Sweet-sour, malty taste, with a hint of bitterness retronasal for balance. Retronasal some nutty notes, ink and dry cake. Very full bodied, grist slickness. Better than usual Brasseurs beers.
