Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 14, 2004 [Draft at ZBF 2004] An amber beer with a fine lazing though disappearing head. The aroma is of malt, straw, aroma hops, and yeast. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, bread, and aroma hops. It has afine bitter end. sk8viking (6078), Copenhagen, Denmark Mar 29, 2005 Zythos Beer Festival, Sint-Niklaas, Belgium 2005. Hazy amber colour with a big white head. Light fruity hoppy aroma and a light sweet taste. Medium body and a sweet finish. Hildigöltur (5051), København Ø, Denmark Mar 17, 2004 [Draught] Amber coloured. A light and fresh ale. It ends with a dry and sharp bitterness. TBone (4924), Pori, Finland Jul 27, 2005 Draught @brew pub
Amber color, a bit tanned head. Same toffee, honey aroma than in their pils. Light bodied with herbs and a bit of smoke. Refreshing, easy to drink but plain. JorisPPattyn (4262), Antwerpen, Belgium Apr 1, 2003 Hazy amber, no head. Ever so slightly peanuts nose - amber malt? Diacetyl - UGH! - and not much else in the taste. Fizzy carbonation. This beer is not just pretty awful - it's a disgrace for Belgium. And in the country's touristic center!!!
