Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 14, 2004 [Draft at ZBF 2004] An amber beer with a fine lazing though disappearing head. The aroma is of malt, straw, aroma hops, and yeast. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, bread, and aroma hops. It has afine bitter end. larsniclas (3034), Gothenburg, Sweden Jun 6, 2004 Draught at the brewpub.
Hazy amber.
Fresh and fruity with a hoppy nose.
Rather dry with loads of hop in the flavour, fine bitterness. rlgk (3028), Motala, Sweden Jun 2, 2004 Amber/orange, a little hazy. Has a malty and fruity aroma that is quite pleasant. Flavor is hoppy, and the hoppiness grows in the finish. rauchbier (2874), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England Apr 22, 2004 Tap, ZBF 2004. Amber gold, poor off white head and moderate condition. Good traditional hop notes with a solid underlying caramel malt note. Well balanced in the mouth with a definite English character in the hops and sweet caramel. Lingering hop bitterness. Fairly good impression of an English ale.
Hildigöltur (5056), København Ø, Denmark Mar 17, 2004 [Draught] Amber coloured. A light and fresh ale. It ends with a dry and sharp bitterness.
