bhensonb (2734), Woodland, California, USA Jun 1, 2008 Tap at the brewpub. Dark amber color with a frothy beige/tan head. Slightly sour aroma over light roasted caramel. Medium body with smooth carbonation. Lightly sweet and spicey. Could be coriander with just a little clove. Sort of recalls wit aspects. Leaves the mouth tingly. Smooth. FrankJohansen (2555), Sabro, Denmark May 5, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. Brownish colour with a small white head. Aroma and taste of dark malts and fruits. Sub standard belgium brune. Beer_2000 (1121), Kristiansand, Norway Apr 1, 2008 Draught @ Les Brasseurs de la Grand Place. A bit hazy, dark brown body with a descent off-white head. Aroma is mostly malt and caramel. Flavor is rather sweet caramel malt, some bitterness and a hint of spices and yeast. Not a typical Belgium Brune, more like something between a sweet American brown and a sweet Belgium Brune. Quite refreshing and not to bad, I think this might be the best beer from this brewery. gnoff (2532), Göteborg, Sweden Mar 25, 2008 (Draught - sample tray - at the brewpub) On March 23, 2008. Shady dark copper color, light brown head. Subtle sweet, slightly acidic scent. Sweet, yeasty, phenolic taste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness. DownsouthGav (598), Greater London, England Jan 3, 2008 Draught @ Les Brasseurs de la Grand Place/Brew Pub. Berries and a malty nose. Pours a burnt orange beer with q sticky medium body. Taste is of orange, malt and some hops a thin barley wine . Very nice indeed.
