Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 14, 2004 [Draft at ZBF 2004] A clear brown beer with a fine light brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and some sourness. The flavor is sweet with a clear yeast presence combined with roasted bread, alcohol, and caramel. It is a little too sweet for my liking. sk8viking (6078), Copenhagen, Denmark Mar 9, 2005 Zythos Beer Festival, Sint-Niklaas, Belgium 2005. Brown colour with a big baige head. Sweet malty light spicy aroma and a sweet caramel taste. Medium body and a sweet finish. duff (5404), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Mar 22, 2004 Another rating from mid last year. I really didn't like the feel of this brewpub, a bit touristy to me. The beer was lightly caramelly, yeasty, easy to drink, a blander version of a Belgian brune. Ok. Hildigöltur (5051), København Ø, Denmark Mar 17, 2004 [Draught] Brown coloured. A sweet and malty bruin with spicy notes and some marzipan in it. MiP (4927), Flensburg, Germany Mar 19, 2005 Draught. Unclear brown colour. Malty, sweet flavour. Not peppery.
