A Mes rate: Draught at weekend of tarts.
What a stunner. I was really really looking forward to this one and it delivered everything I wanted it to. Cloudy red brown colour, it doesn’t sound that great written down but it was a sexy little number. Incredibly fresh and young in the aroma but so funking good. Beautifully sniffable notes of cinnamon and strawberries as well as the just picked raspberries. Absolutely stunning and so so fresh. I swear I can actually smell the water. Close to perfect. The flavour is even better. In fact the first part of my taste notes are "F**k it’s incredible." As the nose, this is so fresh and young and nubile. Gloriously tart and sour, perhaps not brimming with complexity but it’s just oh so drinkable. I could down pints of this in seconds. Utterly gorgeous. Very lengthy raspberry finish that eventually turns from tart to juicy and then almost blood like. My lips are almost stinging after each sip. It’s just tingling with delight. The palate is just about perfect. A rare and special treat. Sex in a glass.

Aroma: seedy, stemmy, raspberry-->like pie filling, some sugar, some tartness-->but a sweet tart, not sour tart
Appearance: deep, ruby red
Flavor: fresh raspberries that have been stewed into a pie and combined with a little bit of sugar, some seeds and some stems
Palate: smooth andfilling-->like pie

Draught @ 17th Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation 2008.
Dark red color with a virtually none appearance, virtually none lancing head. Aroma is moderate to heavy raspberry, wood notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light acidic - sour with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. Woow, very refreshing stuff ;o)) (240508)

Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation 2008. Still and clear deep red color. Clean nose of semi-sweet raspberries, little to no yeast presence in the aroma, only fruit. Tannic flavor - dry and tart but low in acidity. Full-bodied and creamy/rich and very vinuous, finishing with some faint notes of honey along with the raspberries. Pretty good overall, one of the better fruit lambiks at the festival.

At the weekend of spontaneous fermentation
Muddy, pink body, no head of course. The aroma is full of raspberries and wood. This smells like heavenly raspberry juice. The aroma is heavily sour, but again full of raspberries. Very full mouthfeel. Woow, this is a real discovery. If you ever come across it, don’t hesitate: drink and enjoy it!

Damn tasty but puckeringly sour, just short of being unpleasantly so. Draught at WSF. Maroon color, soft red on the edges. No bubbles at all of course. Incredible, pure raspberry nose, faintly floral and sweet, crying out for some dark, dark chocolate with which to mingle. Nothing sweet in the flavor, which is almost shockingly sour. Aftertaste stays tangy. Not a subtle drink, but I could smell the damn thing all day long.
