Poured the standard yellow with a minimal frothy white head. Aroma of sour fruit and spice. Medium, lively mouthfeel, moderately carbonated. Flavour of tart fruityness. Nice if a bit unspectacular.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, í09 poured an orange golden color with small but creamy and lasting white head. Notes of vinous grapes, lemon skin, barn, florals, wood, and light vinegar funk. Carbonation was medium to heavy but worked well with the gueze. Slightly dry in the finish but mostly just puckery and watering. Iíll have another.

Bottle from Etre Gourmet. Pours hazy golden with a huge frothy white head. Lovely aroma, light sourish, horseblanket and vinegar. Taste is crisp and juicy, wood and light vinegar, but most of all freshness and moreish dryness. High carbonated, very good and recommendable ++

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at Chez Moeder Lambic (Brussels, Belgium)
Aroma: Hay, barnyard aromas, citrus, slightly spicy.
Appearance: A very light amber color with a thin white head.
Taste: Tart, although not to the level of Cantillon or 3 Fonteinen. Itís a bit easier to drink, although not quite as pleasant.
Palate: Thin textured and an average carbonation.
Havenít ever seen this one outside of Belgium, so I tried it when I had the chance. And Iím glad I did, because this is one of the better geuze blends that Iíve had.
