375ml corked and caged bottle from Jan 2009. Okay, I put it in the fridge for about an hour and when I removed the cage, the cork shot out like a rocket. Thankfully, I didn’t lose much of the beer. It pours a huge head of foam..I can see a cloudy straw yellow brew underneath. As the foam shrinks, it leaves some nice lacing behind. The smell is both very sour and a bit bitter. Lots of apple like tartness dominate but there’s also a barnyard kind of smell there. It smells so good. I wonder if the taste can match it. Green apple tartness is up front, slight hint of funk, a bit of hop bitterness, more sourness...this is a grand brew to drink if you really dig sours. I’m smacking my mouth drinking this. I just don’t want the sourness of this brew to leave my palate! On the low end of medium bodied with a lively level of carbonation, the mouthfeel is just fine. This IS one hell of a Geuze! De Cam beers are awesome!

375 ml corked and caged bottle split two ways. Slightly hazy golden pour with lots of sediment and some small lacings on top. Lots of funk, leather, barnyard and citrus. Does have some off flavours though, moldy wood and cork notes.

Bottle at DHVL, 2005 vintage. Clear blond with small white head. Aroma is Woody, funk leather and oxydation notes. Taste is very acidic, brett and citric tartness. Palate is light and dry. Not in the best shape but still good.

Big lively co2. overflowed, broght our sour pear and lemon. Exactly what youd expect in this type of brew. Great product.

37,5 cl bottles in 2009. This 5 year old unpasteurised gueuze explodes on opening. You have to be quick with all the wild yeast pressure. Pours a hazy murky amber with lively and fizzy foamhead. Vanishes real quick. Aroma is hops, hay, malt, apple. Taste is hops, acidic, needs more body.

Old geuze blended from Boon, Lindemans and Girardin lambics. Orange blonde colour with fierce, ’champenoise’ sparkling and dense, frothy head, very powerful and attacking aroma, funky, complex as any old geuze, with lots of citric acidity, barnyard, old cheese, almost ’agressive’ estery fruitiness and woody sherry notes. Taste equally complex and fruity, strikingly acid (a true ’neige’ geuze) - in fact, I found this to be among the most sour of all geuzes I tasted so far. But it has all the finesse and freshness of any geuze and I am glad this blender has taken up the tough job of making traditional lambic beers anew back in the nineties.

Bottled On January 2009. Ponad 5,5 letni prastary Lambick.

Shared a 2009 bottle with a friend. Poured a cloudy golden colour with a good white head. Vinegar, tart, oak, citrus, herbal notes, murky old hop bitterness. Acid notes. Not the best geuze i’ve had

Bottled. Pours hazy, golden with a small, white head. Aroma of green grapes, yeast, brett, barnyard and spicy notes. Slightly sweet flavor that ends up dry and tart. Light bodied, watery texture and soft carb. A nice and crisp Geuze.
