1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 RichardGretton (3759) - - JUL 29, 2005
Bottled. Blonde beer with a reasonably strong head. The aroma is very off putting, sickly and sour apples, and the flavour is jaw achingly sour and very dry. This beer tastes like a very, very poor cider or Gueuze.

Bouteille de 75cl. Couleur blond pale, mousse moyenne de tenue moyenne. Un côté assez végétal qui lui confère une amertume très appréciable. Une blonde de garde classique mais appréciable. Trouvée à Point vert - Vitry en Artois

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 jaghana (2089) - Strasbourg (France), FRANCE - AUG 14, 2010
Bottle 33cl. A cloudy yellow orange ale with medium head. Smell is spicy and a bit acid. Aroma is sweet with agrumes notes, finish is long with licorice taste, honey and yeast notes. Not bed just a strange acidity.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 omhper (15956) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 25, 2009
Bottled. Hazy golden, brief head. Tart citric nose with lots of barnyard and horseblanket. Fairly light bodied. Slim and tart, sourish like a lambic and with brett and everything that goes with it. This bottle was best before 2005, and it seems to have developed to full blown lambic with all the complexity that comes with it.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - DEC 26, 2007
Bottle@Home. Light herbal, citrus and buttery aroma. Light hazy, yellow color, off-white head, good lace. Sweet, citric sour, bitter, light buttery. Sticky with ad light dry finish. Note: it was near it’s BBD but still it shouldn’t taste like this.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 reakt (946) - Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 7, 2006
UPDATED: SEP 17, 2006 Bottle from the Rake, se1. Different label.. green and blue with large flying mallard. Labelled Biere du Pays Picard. Honey in colour with a sparse head. Strong nose of apple juice with floral and honey hints. Similar taste that reminds me of fruit salad with a slightly spicey edge. Lovely, light fruit finish. Fairly mild, easy going beer. Quite good - will definitely be having it again.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 maupie (908) - Roosendaal, NETHERLANDS - AUG 19, 2006
This beer has a golden/yellow body - hue apperance and a coarse white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the a bottle and it had a lot of carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is sweet with a light bitter afther tast.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 kook (2033) - Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA - APR 21, 2006
Bottle (labelled Biere du Pays Picard): Light golden colour with a large lasting head. Nice fine carbonation. Gentle flower-like hop aroma, mild bready biscuits with some rotting funky fruit there too. Rather simple flavour, clean biscuity malts with a mild spicy finish. A slight cheesy, almost tart fruity note in the aftertaste. Very refreshing and rather pleasant. - By the highly varied ratings though, i’d say they do have quality control issues.
