Heel lekker biertje met een lekkere diverse smaak voor een blond bier te zijn. Een absolute aanrader om eens te proberen. Ook de afdronk is zeer goed. Niets slechts over te zeggen

Average-strength IPA brewed with barley and wheat malts. Stable, off-white, thick mousse-like head, deep warm orange blonde colour with a brownish hue from yeast after adding the deposit. Strongly soapy hops in the nose, grass, orange peel, pineapple, jute, wheat, old cheese, white pepper, rosewater; taste a crispy ’citrusness’ at first, then more bready and caramelly malty, touch of apricot, quickly overwhelmed by a spicy, pepper- and tonic water-like hop bitterness, very long, as in an American East Coast IPA. Another great piece of work by this ’half-Belgian, half-Dutch’ brewery.

Nydelig duft av citrusfrukter. Dunkel gulbrun farge. Tykt hvitt skum, heng langs kant. Nydelig frisk smak av citrufrukter som sitter lenge.

330mL bottle BB Feb 2015 Deep straw body, hazy with yeast. Huge dense white head flairs up and holds. Good intensity aroma, offering something quite different; herbal ,grassy hops, bready/doughy malts & yeast, lemon rind, white pepper, touch of vinegary funk. Body is quite lean, dry, well attenuated, decent carbonation. Flavour leads on with peppery phenolics & earthy herbal hops with hints of citrus & pears. High bitterness on a drying finish. Not what I was expecting; somewhere between a Saison and IPA - but a British/Euro IPA, geared towards more Noble hop characteristics.

Bright/light sun coloured with a large white pillowy head. On the nose grapefruit, floral hops and notes of forest aromas develops. Light lively with a soft texture offering surprisingly sweet fruity flavours with a developping hoppy bitterness. Well balanced and harmonic. Light-medium refeshing body. The finish is somewhat dry and hoppy bitter lasting for a good while.

Poured prior to a meal at Nuetnigenough in Brussels. Subtle (for an American nose) aroma wirth lovely clean and balanced pale ale flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
