Bottle shared by KingCecil. Pours murky deep golden with a fluffy off white head. The aroma is highly fruity with notes of herbs, cheese and has a slight bretty touch. The flavour is very fruity and spiced with notes of rosemary, light smoke, oak and light hoppy. Long fruity and light bretty finish.

Bottled, thanks caesar for sharing. Dark golden colored, hazy, nice head. Lots of spices in aroma, fruity notes, wood, but also a bit of lambic (that’s surprising). Fruity and somewhat sour flavor, again the spices and wood, a bit dry in finish. I see this is classified as a smoked beer, but the smoke, if it’s there at all, is very much in the background. A very interesting experiment.

Bottle:
Gusher. Big airy off white to light creamy head on top of a hazy dark orange colored beer.
Smell spices, lots of spices, pepper, rosemary, cloves, cinnamon, malts, caramel, hint of fruit, orange peel.
Taste is spices mix with fruit: pepper, rosemary, cloves, orange, light abricot, light sweets, medium bitter, herbs.
Well balanced and nice spicy.
Spicy malty aftertaste.
Medium carbo, tingly lively mouthfeel, medium to fuller body and a light creamy texture.
An oase...
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 olio (1530) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 26, 2011
33 cl bottle.
Pours hazy copper colour with small head. Aroma of strong rose hip, apricot, spices, grass and something glue-like. Flavour of of rosemary spice, apricot, rose hip, nuts and light caramel malts. Something disturbing on the nose, I’d prefer the un-oaked version to this. Stuffy.

33 cl bottle vintage 2010 @ home, BBE 11/2012
Vertical with Bravoure, this was worse.
Aroma is sourish with more rosehip and less apricot than the basic Bravoure. Also some Erikeeper glue and hints of ginger. Flavour has glue, ginger, spearmint bubblegum, some rosehip and hints of apricot. No signs of smoke here either. Stale, weird and not very succesful experiment.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 lusikka (2533) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 26, 2011
330 ml bottle.
Pours a light amber colour with a small white head. Aroma of rose hip, weak glue-like alcohol and ginger. Flavour of caramel malts, rose hip, ginger, rosemary, pepper and some wood. Some sour notes as well. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a slightly warming and spicy finish. Normal version is better, this was quite unbalanced. Not really a smoked beer.
