What a superb surprise find of a beer. Lovely sweet, slightly yeasty, woody, yet smokey aroma. Bright orange/amber colour and foamy off white haed. The taste isn’t overpowering with the 6.5% but it’s balanced mix of slight fruit with the rustic smoke tinge. An interesting but great beer that I will be having again.

Dobre i wedzone piwo z umiarem.

Bottle 0.33l from Dranken Geers. Deep dark orange with creamy head. Feel is ultra smooth with light carbonation. Taste is lightly smokey with no alcohol present at 6.5%. Very good beer which in my opinion could use more smoke. Overall definitely a buy again.

29/06/2011 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 2/2009 (2011-290)

Little cloudy orange to copper red beer, off-white creamy head, stable & adhesive. Aroma: sweet malts, caramel, candi sugar, curaçao, bit fruity, basement yeast. MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: roasted malts, mocha to coffee even, surprising for a beer of this colour. Also sweet malts, camp fire smoke, dark chocolate. Aftertaste: mocha & citrus, fruits, oranges, little bitter ending. Alcohol is noticeable in the end.

Dark amber colour with a coarse head. Smells of malt and fruit, slightly smoky. Very subtle yet robust body. Gresh bitter and smokey dry finish. Carbon is very soft on the toungue. Slightly oily texture.

11.2 ounce green (why?) bottle in Duvel glass. Hazy rich orange with lasting head and lace. Fruity orange yeasty aroma with hints of sourdough bread and smoke. Fruity funky tart sweet orange cherry with spicy hoppy yeasty body and smoky overtones and finish. Nice drinkable medium-light body. Soft mouthfeel and effervescent carbo. Fresh. Nicely complex. Love the hint of smoke. Interesting and excellent.

Rating of the new 2011/2012 version of Bravoure, with more smoked malt
Slightly hazy orange copper beer, fluffy firm white creamy head. Aroma rather smoky, sweet malty with turf accents. Spicy, some vanilla and cardamom. Flavour roasted and whisky malts, slight sweetness, full body. Mocha, fruity, yeast. Bit astringent with some bitterness coming through. Finish bit bitter, astringent and -surprising me a little- reminding of mocha cake. Balanced but quite complex and bold beer.

Cloudy, light smoke smell, pleasant smokey flavor but would not call it light. Little carbonation, light head

Bottle from ABC. Lightly smoky nose, chocolate and caramel. Somewhat spicy yeast. Get those apricots again. Amnber0orange, cloudy, with a tall, fine head. Rich malty, chocolate, caramel, bread, nicely smoky. Very rich and tasty, but not too sweet at all, hops work well for earthy bitterness. Somewhat like a rauchbock. This is a lovely beer, balanced and complex, rich and delicious.
