Absolutely loved this one at ZBF, a lot of passionfruit, mango, citrus aroma and a nice long bitter aftertaste. Very wellbalanced beer, got my first price at ZBF

4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
A really nice ipa. I taste the wheat a little bit mostly fruity hops and a nice pleasant mild bitterness. I have been intrigued by the idea of a wheaty ipa for a long time and this is by far the best example I’ve had from this style. Dangerously drinkable and really satisfying.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22.3 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 11/2016. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy bright orange/amber color with a 2 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, apricot, pineapple, mango, melon, passion fruit, pear, apple, pepper, light pine, wheat, bread, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great complexity and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, apricot, pineapple, mango, melon, passion fruit, pear, apple, pepper, light pine, wheat, bread, light honey, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, apricot, pineapple, mango, melon, pepper, pine, wheat, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and lightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent Belgian IPA style. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Hazy amber with a foamy head. Nice hoppy nose. Candi, orange, malty, also some earth, dry leaves and a bit funky. More sugar, alcohol and a dry stickiness in the finish. Not entirely convinced, had better ipas before
