COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wrapped bottle, striped black paper.(Oak Whisky Barrels)
An 9% ABV beer in which the fermented sugars were all obtained from malt (20 degrees Plato). A generous dose of hops and a long maturation time makes this beer best of the best. This beer is bottle conditioned and will go through taste evolution during many years. Matured for a quarter of a year on a selection of whisky casks. (Translation by Martinus)

Maffigt men överskuggar grundölet totalt.

660ml bottle (thanks FatPhil very much). Clear dark copper color. Small size, yellow head, stays. Licorice, candy, sweet, spices on aroma. Smoked, sweet, candy, mild hops in taste. So mellow and tender. 9% you must be kidding right? Full body. Massive sipper! MORE!

660ml bottle (BierKompass.de)
Lovely deep red, but the large beige head disappears quickly. Soft sweet woody aroma. Also woody in the taste, but the roast is very pleasant too, there’s almost a burnt roastiness too. Sweet malts. Body is odd, it’s a little thin, but you often get that from a bit of barrel aging, but fullish and sweet too. Very mellow, but still quite characterful. Perhaps a little drier than I would like, a little peaty, but still a gorgeous smooth relaxing mellowing brew. Could sip this for hours. Superb brew.

Bottle share at RBESG 2014 day 0 opening dinner. Big Thanks to Rene. Murky brown coloured pour with a small halo of cream head. Aroma is dark fruits, alcohol wood, apple. Flavour is full caramel, honey malts, smooth woody oak, some berry and apple. Rich deep flavour and well put together. Palate is full bodied, warming alchol in the finish and soicy.
