Bottle shared during RBESG 2014 opening dinner. Pours brown with a creamy tan head. Lovely, rounded toffee character, lots of rich fruits and bready malts. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Nice woody accents in the finish, some toasty bread, more rich fruits and toffee. Not too boozy. Solid.

RBESG pt 1. Craft Clapham. Bottle. Think this one was Martinus, cheers mate. Murky brown beer, good cream - pale tan head. Mild oaky nose. Palate is light and smooth, modest fine carbonation. Lightly tangy malts, whisper of smoke. Light wood. Cherry - plummy fruits. Mild bitterness but an undercurrent of mild oaky sweetness. Light dry finish. A tasty number.

Bottle at RBESG. It pours cloudy deep red-brown with a small yellow-beige head. The nose is earthy, light toast, earth, vanilla, fudge, coconut, whisky and cocoa. The taste is bitter, earthy, caramel, cola, light tangerine, dried fruits, raisins, light alcohol, whisky and warming alcohol with a dry, lightly spiced finish. Medium-fullish body and fine carbonation. Pretty tasty.
