4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle, 33 cl. Dark mahogany body with a small beige head. Intense aroma with dried fruit. Rich sweet taste with light bitterness. Coffee and fruit. The alcohol is only slightly noticable. Medium body with soft carbonation. Long bitter finish. Very smooth and tasty beer, the first I have had from this brewery. If the others are as good as this one then I want to try them all.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Small, short-lived beige head over dark copper brown beer. Coffee & smokey nose, ashes, malts, pear. Beautiful smokey-malty and resiny flavours. Pretty sweet and almost cloying. But well balanced. Finish with some hop resin & bitterness. Palate slick, viscous, warming and 100% balanced. Very nice brew, and certainly a good base for barrel projects.
