3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Brussels bottle enjoyed in Dinant. Murky orange pour with a foamy khaki head that hangs around forever. Big citrus hop aroma but also some dusty grain and yeast. I think this is the hoppiest Belgium-produced beer I have tried. It has an interesting earthiness to it that is not found in traditional, US west coast big IPAs. Just a hint of alcohol in the finish. Unique and pretty tasty.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Beershop De Molen, @home. Pours hazy dark blonde with a medium creamy white head. Just as the label promises, this beer intensively hopped. The first thing you smell and taste is the citrus hops, which also lingers long after the finish. This is a very bitter beer, throughout the entire experience. After a while, however, a little fringe of sweet appears in the background. As an IPA enthousiast I was a little dissapointed, although I could’ve figured out what this would taste like by reading the label. A beer worth trying, but not something I’d drink on a regular basis.
