Bottle. Hazy gold with a large rocky foam but none of the expected gushing. Aromas are biscuit and caramel with floral notes and low woody pine. Melon, pineapple and white grape with yeast. Some traces of mint. Flavours are white grape with oak barrel and dry yeast. Grapefruit bitterness with peppery aspects and spicy, herbal notes. Some underlying biscuit malts with a dry finish. Very nice. Thanks to Bombardier for the bottle.

3.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled from Biernavigatie.nl. Muddy orange-brown appearance, nice mostly lasting head. Nose is just pure fresh, very fresh, hops. Very flowery, pine, fruity, just love it. Very bitter flavor, which works out fine, combined with malts and yeasty notes. Finishes astringently bitter, which lasts forever. The aroma is absolutely fantastic, the flavor is very nice, but in finish this one is unfortunately too bitter for me. Still, i can’t deny this is a very nice brew.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 ounce bottle
I might have enjoyed this more if half of it did not gush down the drain. What was left was a solid imperial IPA. With another bottle to try hopefully this time I can get a full experience.
Aroma / Appearance - The gushing does not stop even after you pour it into a glass. It takes a few minutes to settle down into something resembling beer. When it does what is left looks like melted Twix filling. Brown sugar, molasses, and caramel are helped by a light lemony texture. Underneath is a yeasty hazel feel.
Flavor / Palate - Melted Twix left on the dashboard during a warm summer day mix with caramel and floral hops. This is bitter but not over the top. The tangy mouthfeel hints of mango yet never quite gets there. Instead I find myself thinking of a malt driven imperial IPA with a little Belgian character. It’s not bad so much as a different take on the style.
