Bottle at home. Deep orange pour, solid white head. Aroma of floral hops, some rye, fruity with mango, peach, and somewhat sweaty hops. Flavor is quite bitter, fruity hops, slightly warming, thick body and a bit sharp. Very decent IPA.

Dommage !!

Bottle. Hazy copper color with a thick foamy off-white head. Strong aroma of mandarin, peach and grapefruit. Bitter taste with some sweetness and warmth from alcohol. Bitter but definitely not too harsh finish.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2014 Draught@ZBF 2013 and BBF 2014, joint notes. Original upfront Simcoe and ¿Centennial/Chinook harshness accomodated and cushioned by soft yeast profile and luscious pillows of malt. Bitterorange and lychee bitterness and canned peach dominate over citrus rind and pine. Another exquisite blend of BE (balance, yeast) and US (hop profile, dry ale) traditions, and in that sense far more subtle than the hybric "disturbingly good" epitet would lead one to suspect. // Rerate 65cl bottle bb 02/2015 @1st Freiburg Tri-state tasting. A layered wealth of exotic hops create a vibrant feel to a rich almond biscuit (UK) malt base. Very well done, especially keeping some of that DvdK trademark BE yeastiness to link hops to malts. +0,2

Shared a 33cl bottle from Mi-Orge Mi-Houblon. Pours a dark golden colour with a fluffy big white head. Aroma is hops, fruity and floral. Average carbonation with medium body. Taste is really bitter. Like a kick extending to a long bitter and dry finish. Overall, a very aggressive but delightful beer. Another one please.
