UPDATED: MAR 7, 2015 22.4 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 7/2015. Pours hazy bright orange color with a 2-3 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, peppercorn, light caramel, bread, floral, grass, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/pine hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, peppercorn, light caramel, bread, floral, grass, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Good amount of peppery yeast spice and pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pine, light caramel, bread, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate malt flavors; with a nice crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, sticky, and slightly creamy mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is an awesome Belgian DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of big citrus/pine hops, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to sip on for the the ABV. Very big on bright hop flavors with supporting malt and yeast notes all around. A highly enjoyable offering.

hazy orange colour, huge, not too stable off-white head; amazing aroma of tangerine, peach, some overripe tropical fruits, grassy and resiny notes, tea leaf and biscuit; taste is the same with a bit less complexity and harmony; excellent IIPA

Unclear amber colored beer beer with a whitehead, medium carbonation. Taste likes hops, slightly spicy, some citrus, sweet tropic fruit. Nice long bitter afthertaste. Another good beer from this brewery.

Troebel licht oranje bier met veel schuim en koolzuur. Smaak is erg bitter hoppig en kruidig, gras , lichte citrus ondertoon en zwarte thee. Smaak blijft lang hangen. Erg goed en verrassend bier.

Bottle. Hazy dark golden with very big white head. Massive hops with mainly tropical fruits and citrus, but also some pine needles, strawberry and peach. Strong sweetness going into strong bitterness. Sweet malts, creamy, light spices. Medium to full bodied with creamy feel. Very nice!

Âmbar escuro, volumosa espuma. Bem persistente. Aroma intenso de caramelo, laranja, toranja, mel, pinho, resinoso, mas com o malte aparente também e a levedura idem. Parece uma imperial belgian IPA. Amargor bem intenso. Final amargo persistente e levemente adocicado. Corpo alto.

33cl bottle. Pours golden amber with thin white, lacing head. Aroma mainly citrus and old wood, some grass thrown in. Taste full-on bitter hops accompanied by brawny, malty body. A bit creamy palate with soft carbonation. Finish is soft and balanced. Good and well-made DIPA and true to the style.

Really soft beer for a double I.P.A. Taste of hop is not evolving, which is not a bad thing. Also a great beer to discover the IPA kind of beer.
