Wow, just wow! this is something special. dark orange color and a thick head. Aroma of orange, passion fruit, a hint of grapefruit - fruityness all the way, but also, very apparant, the sent of freshly grown cannabis (ie, not dried, the plant itself), which also manifests itself a bit in the taste :) quite weird. rich palate, leaves behind a strong bitterness which lasts pretty long, not at all disturbing though, very pleasant. very very nice beer. well done.

Extremely flowery and fruity aroma. Very nice scent ! The colour is a very nice yellow/orange. Probably munich malt used for this beer. Nice fine sparkling though presenting a nice head. The taste is nice flowery at first followed up by a very nice bitter aftertase quite long. Perfectly fits the double IPA standrads for me !

Genuine IPA, not a compromise called ’tripel hop’ which is popular nowadays in Belgium, since 2013. Snow white, creamy head and hazy golden blonde robe, aroma of grass, green apple, bread, raw cauliflower, bitter honey and flowers. Citrussy onset, dry with strong, tingling carbonation, very mineral-like, bit grainy in the middle and ending in a citrussy and grassy hoppiness, but on the aromatic side rather than real bitter and finishing sooner than I expected (and hoped). Not all bad but I am convinced this brewery could have done a lot better.

33oml Bottle: BBD Dec14. Poured into a Westmalle chalice at home on 7th Aug 14. Dull hazy old gold body with a full and deep white foam coating for a head. The nose was malty bread and heavy hops. The taste ditches the malts, the hops taking over completely: bitter and sharp with a mini tropical fruit hint here and there, some yeastiness in the flavourings too. Full bodied, hides the alcohol fairly well. A good, interesting brew.

Bottle@onepint. Orange hazy, well foamy. Caramel, some candy, floral perfumy hoppy nose. Sort of peachy, dry sweet fruity. Med full bodied, bitter. Vanulla peachy caramels, some pine greenery in finish. Tasty, nice, could be cleaner.

660ml botle Appearance:Opaque orange with a medium sized compact persistent slightly offwhite head.with nice retention and lacing. Aroma: Yeast, ceramlised malts, and quite some resinous hops. yeasty Taste: Resinous hops, Tropical fruity hops, some belgian yeast, some caramel, Very bitter finish. Which lasts quie long. Allthough it’s hard to put a exact finger on.and there is nice complexity while still having good drinkability. Its quite bitter and medium sweet. Medium body, average carbonation. Nice brew from the Dochter van de Korenaar.

660 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.5%. Cloudy pale yellowish colour, large and lasting white head, looks like a witbier. Lovely and quite complex fruity aroma, notes of a wide variety of fruits, also spruce. Slightly sweet flavour, very hoppy, with a massive bitterness throughout. Bitter aftertaste too, nearly medicinal.

Hazy orange with creamy white head. Huge body with a incredible bitter mouthfeel, especially towards the end. Very balanced and excellent drinkability. Great belgian beer.
