GODiSSOUTHERN (343) - Virginia, USA - FEB 18, 2012
Pours a beautiful orange hue that turns a bit cloudy brown when the sediment goes in. The smell is a bit farmhousy bandaids. The flavor has a nice pineapple fruit note, some slight sourness and a bit of herbal bittnerness in the back. Nice, subtle and tasty.

Hazy orange colour. Strong candy aroma with some tropical fruit. Very soft, malty character. Light, fruity and quite sweet. Some hops in the finish.

Nice froppy had, very creamy like milkshake. Smell, triple, peppery, hoppy with a slide bitter touch. Taste, a touch of bitternes (from the hops), not to much. It is followed with a caramel flavor (also a touch of chocolate) witch is surprising in a triple beer. And there is a kinda barnyard texture to it. Itís not a easy drinkable beer, the beer is to complex for that. This is a excellent beer !

Pours opaque copper with a small head. Sweet, floral aroma and a citrussy sweet, maly flavour. Good, but fairly heavy.

Light head, cloudy deep golden. Nose with itchy or dolcevit, light sweetness and fatness. Fullbodied with some length. Taste is again itchy, gooseberry, raspberry and rubber, Really nice

Bottle 33 cl, Bierkoning. Pours clear copper amber with a huge beige head leaving lacing. Aroma is sweet, raisins, bready, malty, spicy and a bit yeasty. Flavor is much like aroma, alcohol, pungent, peppery and bitter. Finishes with a very nice bitter sweet aftrertaste.

caesar (4721) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JAN 13, 2012
Bottled @ home, BB sept 2013. Cloudy orange golden color, medium off-white head. Aroma is grainy, rye, cookie and biscuit, only a slight hint of fruitiness. Makes me think of whole wheat cookies. Slight sweet taste, hint of sourness. Thick body, slight creamy even, understandable for a triple brewed without sugar. It has the spicy character of a belgian yeast. They classify it themselves as a triple, but the specialty grain seems to be appropriate as well. Quite original triple.

330ml bottle (Viisi Pennia, Helsinki)
6 Porridgy stodgy aroma. Slight orangy esters.
3 Turbid orange (we didnít pour - naughty boys behind the bar at 5P!)
7 Super sweet mashy malts. Slightly cakey, and overly yeasty due to the pour.
3 Slime due to yeast. May well have been a 4 if Iíd poured. Finish very fruity, again orange peel.
14 Lovely easy drinker, no sign of 8.5% at all. Shame about the stodginess which isnít necessarily a usual feature of the beer at all.
