2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can sample at a tasting. Thanks Rotem. Hazy dark orange. Aroma has a tiny bit of acidity, fruits, a bit of hoppy hints, a bit of caramel hints and some spiciness. Sweet (too sweet) flavor with some spiciness. Medium-bodied. Weird.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Maduro. Orange-bronze with a slight haze. Thin, steady, soapy head. Pleasant sweet aroma. Assumably rye, this is quite a smooth beer. Soft carbonation. Slight alcohol warming, orange cream sweetness. Almost like an Imperial Cream Ale, Belgified. Maybe some Tripel feel as well. Mellow, despite the ABV. Rather straightforward, but well executed.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Light hazy amber coloured beer with average carbonation and a medium white head. Light grainy and malty hinted aroma. Full herby palate; Finish is strong herby, bitter with some sweet vanilla and alcoholic touches. Not bad.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Slightly hazy orange color, large thick vast white head, lacing. Fresh light hoppy smell. Taste grainy, malty. Very nice mouthfeel. Strong carbo but it fits the beer, medium to full body.

Man, I am having a bad beer night. Malted Barley Syrup is the primary aroma and flavor. Not complex, not particularly. I have given up trying to describe bad beers. This is just a bad beer.

(330ml bottle best by August 2012 thanks to bu11zeye) Smells sweet, orange, rose hips, mandarin orange. A cloudy orange color with green tints. Head is creamy white with the same green tints. Taste is straw, white bread, earthy hops, light syrup, dandelions, spinach. Not bad- good sweet/bitter balance with the flavor to back it up.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Mekong. Deep amber appearance - despite the description, this isnít remotely a tripel. For that matter, no specialty grain was immediately evident to me either. Aroma is caramel with a hint of toffee. Flavor is a match, rich caramel, with a hint of herbal hops and spicy yeast notes on the finish. Nice enough, but not something I would seek out again.
