Thanks to Marcus. This beer pours a muddy yellow with a thin white head. The aromas are lemon zest, old closet. The mouthfeel is slightly sticky with medium body. Cheers!
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Glouglouburp (5572) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 28, 2010
In short: A full-body tripel style Belgian Ale. Nice beer.
How: From a big bottle (750ml?) at BCTC 2010
The look: Clear orange-blonde body topped by a long-lasting small beige head
In long: Nose of sweet malts and bananas bringing a sensation of one of those fried banana dessert (really!). Taste is sweet and very fruity. Banana cake, bananas peels, lemon, yeast. The crisp wheat-style malt backbone and the grassy/citrusy hops makes the beer feel bright and refreshing despite the sweetness. The body was great, full and the carbonation was very lively. I tried the beer because it was unusual and I ended-up enjoying it quite a bit. That’s what beer festivals are for. Trying new unknown beers. I love beer festvivals, you’ll never find a nicer bunch of dysfunctional, socially maladapted and sexually frustrated deviants outside of organised religion.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Vaiz (2681) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - OCT 3, 2010

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 TBone (9999) - Pori, FINLAND - SEP 22, 2010
Bottled 330ml (Beer Planet, BB 08/2012)
Hazy dark orange color, thick off-white head. Grainy and berryish aroma. Medium to full bodied, quite crisp. Flavor is also berryish, ryeish with wheatish banana notes. In this beer you can taste all three grains used! A bit too yeasty for my liking.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 sayravai (4655) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 11, 2010
(Draught) Opaque amber with a medium, lacy and lasting head. Mild aroma of fruity maltiness. Flavor is candy-caramely-malty with some acidity, but balanced by sweetness. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. An obvious competitor to Tripel Karmeliet, but not quite there yet. 5347
