2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Man, I am having a bad beer night. Malted Barley Syrup is the primary aroma and flavor. Not complex, not particularly. I have given up trying to describe bad beers. This is just a bad beer.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Mekong. Deep amber appearance - despite the description, this isn’t remotely a tripel. For that matter, no specialty grain was immediately evident to me either. Aroma is caramel with a hint of toffee. Flavor is a match, rich caramel, with a hint of herbal hops and spicy yeast notes on the finish. Nice enough, but not something I would seek out again.

Bottle from Beer Revolution. Pours hazy medium copper with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is sort of lightly spiced stewed pale stone fruit. Flavor is just a bit cereal, but fruit and mild spice carry a wonderful flavor.
