Bottled @ home, BB sept 2013. Cloudy orange golden color, medium off-white head. Aroma is grainy, rye, cookie and biscuit, only a slight hint of fruitiness. Makes me think of whole wheat cookies. Slight sweet taste, hint of sourness. Thick body, slight creamy even, understandable for a triple brewed without sugar. It has the spicy character of a belgian yeast. They classify it themselves as a triple, but the specialty grain seems to be appropriate as well. Quite original triple.

Pours hazy golden with a low head. Aroma is sweet malts and sugar. Flavor is sweet malts, alcohol and some yeast. Nice stuff.

7/V/2012 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: I/2013 (2012-473)

Pretty clear deep orange to amber beer, lots of small sediment floating around under a small but solid off-white head, pretty stable and little adhesive. Aroma: very sweet and malty, honey, caramel, dried fruits, apple juice or cider. MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: pretty sweet, sugary start, lots of malts, milk chocolate, honey, floral hops, biscuit. Aftertaste: bready, malts, chocolaty, bit nutty, grassy bitter hops, pretty dry ending with some sweet and noticeable alcohol in the end.

33cl BB Sept 2013 from Willems & Zoon. Holy hell, this beer was horrible, not used to that from this brewery. Opened on a silent note, poured completely flat with a few bubbles. Beer itself is ok, but zero carbonation ruin the whole experience. Couleur orangée laissant filtrer qcq bulles blanches le fond de bouteille présentant une épaisse couche de levure. Arôme est principalement de malt cara sur un aspect vieux biscuit. En bouche, pas de pétillant, le tout est plat, laissant un palais huileux, visqueux qui s’accompagne d’un malt cara, sur un fumé minime et cette levure belge rappelant une triple.

040212: Golden color with fine white head. Yeasty aroma. Fruit and hoppy flavor.

Bottle. Orange amber pour, off white head. Heavy on the malt, bread, cereal, caramel sweetness, some fruit, and lightly hoppy in the finish. I don’t like it much. Probably good if your into bready malt.

Pours a beautiful orange hue that turns a bit cloudy brown when the sediment goes in. The smell is a bit farmhousy bandaids. The flavor has a nice pineapple fruit note, some slight sourness and a bit of herbal bittnerness in the back. Nice, subtle and tasty.

Hazy orange colour. Strong candy aroma with some tropical fruit. Very soft, malty character. Light, fruity and quite sweet. Some hops in the finish.

Nice froppy had, very creamy like milkshake. Smell, triple, peppery, hoppy with a slide bitter touch. Taste, a touch of bitternes (from the hops), not to much. It is followed with a caramel flavor (also a touch of chocolate) witch is surprising in a triple beer. And there is a kinda barnyard texture to it. It’s not a easy drinkable beer, the beer is to complex for that. This is a excellent beer !

Pours opaque copper with a small head. Sweet, floral aroma and a citrussy sweet, maly flavour. Good, but fairly heavy.

Bottle. High creamy lasting off-white head. Hazy orange body. Light citrus aroma. Dusty abricot caramel lemon hops flavor. Low carbonation. Long aftertaste.
