Ruikt zoet met mandarijnen incl. schil, marmelade, zoete kruiden, zoet brood, andere granen, wat zoeter, lekker hoppig en wat kruiden. Smaak is zoetig mandarijnen schil, zoete zomerfruit, zoet brood, kruiden, sinasappel, bloemen, gevolgd door een leuke hopigheid, kruiden, andere granen, gierst, interessante kruidige einde, wat witte peper, bitter. Lichtjes romig, overrijpe fruit mondgevoel. Interessant, leuk, BA versie was nog een beter. Prachtige brouwerij.

Bottle from Slowbeer. Interesting, tropical. Aromas of pineapple, caramel. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness, and long length. Palate is velvety. Amber, with a thin head.

Hazy orange colour. Strong candy aroma with some tropical fruit. Very soft, malty character. Light, fruity and quite sweet. Some hops in the finish.

Delicious bouquet of babyfood peaches, apple, and cinnamon. Hazy dark amber, firm medium sized head, some lace. Overripe peach flavor with a subtle and brief appearance of banana at midpalate. Finishes peachy with a bit of lemon zest. Nice balance. Solid.

Pours hazy golden with a low head. Aroma is sweet malts and sugar. Flavor is sweet malts, alcohol and some yeast. Nice stuff.

[Bottle @ Capones] Hazy golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits, honey, rye, toasted malts, spices, and alcohol. Taste of citrus fruits, spices, earthy yeast, dry rye, and light alcohol with a full mouthfeel.

Golden honey amber with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet flowers and fruit. Deep and sour flavour. Lovely going down. Great beer.

Orange, hazy/muddy body with an off-white head. Heavily bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Very well balanced with a floral hoppiness joint with sweet caramel touch. Bit dry. Very complex. Great!

Tap at Capones. Pours a hazy deeper amber with a medium creamy/bubbly off white head. Aroma was intially sweet, with nice Belgian yeast esters and citrus notes. This is a really great tripel and the rye adds a nice spicy malt profile.

Just brought this back from the store and it’s at cellar temp. Opened as a slow gusher and poured with a mammoth, foamy, frothy, fluffy, billowy, thick, cream colored head that lasts forever and some lace. Color is a clear honey amber with loads of tiny bubble trails. Aroma is super yeasty plus spice, malt, earth, bread dough, caramel, and pears. Flavor’s like nose, but with the basic characteristics of bitter, sweet, and acid writ large. However, there’s an odd mineral or chemical component there that is definite and detracting. Excellent body & carbonation. Finish is like flavor and longish. Very good with a strong cheese.
