Smoked gueze lambic... Does that exist? I guess it does. This is one. Funky sour with smoke. Nose, I can't describe. Taste is slightly smoked and me likey. If you want something new, try it. I like it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

75cl Bottle, courtesy of Yves. Darker amber coloured beer wiht some medium carbonation and a medium dence off white head. Fruity sour oaky and sweet herby balanced aroma. Medium to full light sour infused palate. Finish is again rather sour sweet balanced with fruity and herby touched. Nicely balanced. Very good beer.

Sampled from 75cl bottle, thanks to my friend Niels. Hazy dark orange color, full sized creamy off-white to beige head that lasts and leaves nice lacing. Smell sour, lightly some fruit, slight hint of wood. Taste sour, sour fruits, some sour-bitterness. Good balance. Soft carbo, medium body.

Säuerlicher, dehr fruchtiger Beginn anch Trauben, dann eher trocken, dabei fruchtig bleibend, rund und süffig. Besonders zum Ende kommt der Brett Geschmack durch. Säuerlich, rund, gut! 13/12/13/11/11/12

75 cl bottle - pours deep hazy orange with a creamy, sticky white head. Nose is sourness of brettanomyces alike beers, some smoky meat, peach and a bit of wet hay. Medium body with lively carbonation - starts off medium sweet and ends softly bitter - smokiness comes through in the taste as well, together with some typical gueuze flavours. Special.

Bottle at DRBM. The aroma has citrus, lots of wood. Nice! Hazy, orange coloured beer with an off-white, bit thin head. The taste is tart, bit milky, has barnyard yeast. Citric aftertaste. Funky stuff.

Bottle. Amber color. Peat, lemon, oak and pineapple in the aroma. Sour flavor with lemon, ash, grapefruit, charcoal and peat. Complex beer, very typical mix of lambic and peaty flavors.

11/12/2011 75cl bottle @ home - BB: n/a (2011-701)

Little cloudy amber coloured beer, nice creamy off-white head, stable and adhesive. Aroma: ripe fruits, woody, sour bretta like, citrus and orange peel, bit smoky, little pepper. MF: good carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, smoky, wood, lemon zest, sour and bitter are taking turns in being the dominant flavour, some spices and a touch of grapefruit. Aftertaste: orange peel with a nice tart finish.

Good, bit off-white head over hazy amber-orange beer. Solvent, old wet wood, fruity esters and glue. Flavours turn towards blue cheese, rather than Brettanomyces, still very estery. Spritzy, and yet sticky MF, seems underattenuated, strange for a wild ale. Maybe a long(er) operation with Bretts might help? Needs a retry.
