On tap at Pizzeria Paradiso. Nose has an odd funk to it. Some barnyard and a bit catty. Very dry feel. Slightly medicinal. Mild acid. Not bad, but not all that good.

Draft at Torst. Pours slightly hazy orange amber with thin white head. Aroma is sour funkiness with tart cherry notes. Taste is both sour, woody, oakey and musty with notes of peppery lemon and other citrus fruits. Finish is funky and sour. Very nice.

75c bottle. Clear, red/brown with small, white head. Nose : apple, citrus, wood, pine, cookie, tart. Sip : oily texture, low carbonation. Just a little bit thicker body then water. Sweet tart taste, sour fruity with acid lambic like flavor. It’s not that dry though. As I’m not a big fan of sour ales this one is right for me. Refreshing, hiding the booze very well. Nice stuff.

Hazy orange, lots of big white foam. Meyer lemon, pine, dairy cattle nose. Dill, wool. Soft, surprisingly light carbonation. Peppery mouthcoating lemon sour flavor. This is solid. Pleasant. I could happily drink a lot of this. But I wish for a little more verve and sass. Some very pleasant funk, but stops short of profound. Thanks Vila for sharing the bottle!

Clear, bubbly, orange colored pour. Small white head, no lacing. A rubbery, peppery aroma. Taste still has the band-aid essence, like the rubbery nose. There is some fruit in there, and a nice funk. If the infection wasn’t there it would be really great. Tart, but not overly so. A little sour, but just a little. Good try.

Draft @ brugs bierfest. Hazy blonde beer, white head. Sour aroma with tints is brett. Flavor is very tart with a dry finish. Quite decent, expected more of this.

Bottle - 750mL crowned. Amber pour with a tall, dense, fluffy tan head. Aroma is sour fruit, strong, dusty yeast, strong earthy notes, wet wood and herbal notes. Taste is sour fruit, herbal notes, funky yeast, damp wood, strong earthiness, horse blanket, and tart berries. Body is medium with a strong, lively carbonation, light acidic notes and a dry finish. Ends with more funky yeast, herbal notes, straw, strong earthy notes, flowers and sour fruit.

Bottle at a Chriso tasting, London - thanks to Bruce for this bottle. Pours hazy gold with a frothy, white head. Big tangy aroma, some peach. Medium sweet flavor, fairly sweaty and funky, with a bit of overripe orange. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Medium sweet finish with some rindy citrus bitterness, mellow sourness, sweat, funk, soft pale malts. Very nice.

The ChrisO small midweek tasting. Cloudy amber beer, decent pale tan head. Woody dry beer - fairly sour. A little light smoke. It’s all right.
