Slightly hazy, orange yellow beer, large off-white, fluffy head. Aroma lightly tart, malty, citrus fruit, sour apple, some light creamy cheese. Hint of smoke. Flavour is quite tart, malty background. Fruity: citrus, apricot and apple. Lactic acid sourness. Some residual sweetness to balance it. Wood and light smoke in the finish. Very delicate. I like this one a lot!

Bottle: Medium airy off white creamy head, changes into an half open lacing on top of a hazy amber orange colored beer. The smell is awesome, super smooth balanced, excists of four things: the typical geuze smell with wood, rubber (both also typical Lambic) and smoke. The taste is so smooth so soft and well balanced: yeast, barn, lactic sour, wood, white wine wood, some smoke, some older malts and herbs, hint of honey, some light soft and smooth fruit tones, light bitter, some smooth spicy notes, but overall a very very nice geuze taste which is soooo smooth! Aftertaste is short: some grass, malts, light sour, light bitter and nice wood tones. Low carbo, soft almost silky mouthfeel, medium to full body and a creamy texture. Sour ale? This is a Lambic Geuze and this is not just a simple one. Delicious over all! Dont wanna write too much, I am Enjoying (capital E) a good beer!

660ml bottle. Starts to pour out as soon as the crown is cracked. Pours an opaque and hazy yellowy orange with some pig skin pink with a large, white head. Aroma is sour, lightly vinegary, quite a bit of bright red fruits and cherry. Some cherry, balsamico and caramel. Taste is sour as well. Balsamic vinegar, cherry, apple skin. All the good stuff. Fairly medium with relatively high carbonation. Just superbly drinkable and magnificent.

Draft sample @ Brewvival on 2/27/10. really nice big sour ale... pours an orange color with an average white head... big tart nose with a huge sour body... some tart apple notes throughout with a touch of barnyard funk... pretty drinkable for 12% (if that is what it is...)

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2014 Bouteille. Moustache Blanche. Robe orange claire, petite mousse blanche. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Säuerlicher, dehr fruchtiger Beginn anch Trauben, dann eher trocken, dabei fruchtig bleibend, rund und süffig. Besonders zum Ende kommt der Brett Geschmack durch. Säuerlich, rund, gut! 13/12/13/11/11/12

Sampled a bottle at Max’s Belgian Fest. Pours a hazy, copper amber with a frothy, active white head. Cheesy, funky aroma, strawberries, dusty. Flavor is sweet, berries, funk, grass, hay, a little caramel. Tart finish. Very nice.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2010 Bottle at the Thirsty Monk. Pours a hazy yellow/gold with a fluffy white head. The smell is straight up lambic with solid notes of vinegar, woold, barnyard but also some iodine, oak, peat, and meat going on. This tastes remarkably like scotch with distinctive peaty and salty flavors beneath the strong sour notes. Plenty of tart fruit, barnyard and vinegar is also apparent. I really enjoyed this one. It is cohesive and well rounded.

Bottle. [thanks Feldthaus]
Lovely clear golden orange with a lovely, staying, frothy, white head. Leaves good laces. Aroma has red apple, coriander, brett, mild lactic, caramel and zesty oranges. Medium carbonation, great dry and slight creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is tart, caramel, red apple, lactic, again some coriander, roses, light oranges. Deliciously light warming. Super elegant and lovely.
