50cl bottle from Maakun, many thanks! Vintage 2014. Pours a nice looking mahogany color with a thick, dense white head. Aroma: Dried dark fruits, soaked plums, sherry notes, old wood, molasses. Quite complex. Not that sticky. Flavor: very malty with plums, wood, dark fruits, sweetness. Not boozy at all despite the high ABV. Surprisingly drinkable, not too sweet either. Nice sipper!

Sample at SBWF 2015. Hazy reddish/brown with a small head. Aroma of dried fruit, caramel, malt and some very light notes of vanilla. Similar taste. The finish was long with well hidden alcohol. A tasty one.

500ml bottle - shared by ElviraS - thanks!
Huge dark barley aroma, some rye, dark bread, a little sweet. Similar taste, but a nice nuttiness too. 13% you say? I quite simply don’t believe you - an extra point for that. Finish dry, nutty, and woody. Nut paper bitterness. A complex beer, but remarkably easy to drink despite its weight. These guys are geniuses.
