Tasting @ Leuven Innovation Beer Fesitval 2016 // Golden to orange color, nice white head. More hoppy and more character than the regular one, close to an IPA but milder and smoother. Very good.

Wazig oranjekleurig bier met romige witte schuimkraag. Geur: hoppig, citrus, moutzoetig, honing. Smaak: hopbitter, wat citrus, wat zoetigheid en kruidig. Goede koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: bitter.

Bottle 33cl. Poured into a chalice. Clear medium amber, good two finger frothy off-white head, recedes slowly, a thick layer remains, light lacing; aroma malty, honey, caramel, peach, apricot, nutty notes; taste light heavy to medium sweet and medium bitter, malty, toffee, yeasty, fruity notes, long duration, sweetbitter aftertaste with peppery notes, dry bitter finish; medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation; an elegant and complex brew.

4 oz pour on draft at The Sovereign. Listed as Noblesse XO, I assume this is the correct entry. Clear amber with off-white head. Aromas of malt and caramel. Tastes of malt, caramel, toast, biscuit. Medium body with a dry finish.

Bottle. Cloudy dark amber, medium off-white head. Aroma very IPAesque, hops, pine needles, mango. Vivid carbonation. Taste first sweet, pineapple, turning into hoppy finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Moebbels (670) - FINLAND - FEB 12, 2016
A deep orange body with the yeast making it hazy. The off-white head is fluffy and lasts well. Nose has estery yeast notes, citrus fruits, spices and rye. Taste is quite bitter and somewhat harsh with a lingering bitter finish. Soft carbonation and medium palate. Decent hefty belgian with unusually heavy, almost IPA-like, hop bitterness. Nice and drinkable.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Oaky, pithy lemon-forward nose with a lot burned yeast. Bitter on the palate with a slight creamy mouthfeel. Sticks, twigs, grassy hops with an astringent bitter finish that lingers. Some pepper in there too.

Bottle from Drankcentrale Rotsaaert, Zedelgem. Superior stuff. A Belgian Ale which is eons ahead of the most famous beers which populate this style. Fresh, wheaty, yeasty, creamy, biting.
