A stronger, dry-hopped version of the Noblesse.

Bottle: Poured a hazy bright hay color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of semi-sweet Belgian-style malt with some weird floral hoppy notes. Taste is also dominated by semi-sweet Belgian-style malt with some weird dominant hops notes with some fruity flavours and some weird herbal notes. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Not sure that herbal and lemony notes form the hops is a great addition to this beer.

Rastacouere (6123) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 28, 2012
Cloudy, gently sedimented golden pour covered by a thin white sheet. Spicy sourdough dominates this vegetal, rather green nose in which gingery/peppery notes complement the herb basket. Tartish foundations have a minimal lemony undertone that may once have been due to dry-hopping, but there is little left of it at this point. Without it, the beer feels a bit tame, bending very strongly toward the tartish bready yeast which is not the cleanest strain around, but seems fairly attenuative which rimes with the malt not contributing much either. Biting, lively carbonation has an expanding quality not unlike a Fantôme. Finish is spice rack reminiscent.

Cloudy orange, huge yeast aroma, some farmhouse, doughy backed with hops. Dry on the tongue, some citrus, bitter. Lovely

My Bottom Line :
Prevalent doughy yeast rules within this super fluffy Belgian Ale, forcing its bready flavors onto herbal, citrusy angles.

Further Personal Perceptions :
-Creamy foam icing rests atop the cloudy pale amber.
-Light peaches appear here and there.
-The finish is so yeasty, it is redolent of mushrooms.
-There is nothing extra-ordinary here. It feels like the announced dry-hopping was washed away on the boat to North America...

The aroma is malty and hoppy with yeast and paper. The appearance is cloudy copper with a sudsy head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall this is a drinkable but forgettable beer.

Clear golden coloured with a medium sized off-white head. Sweet aroma of caramel and spices. Sweet and fruity flavour of caramel and hops. Hoppy finish.

Zesty nose of lemon and spicy hop. Moderately bitter, medium body, and ending a touch sweet. Interesting stuff for sure but I remember the original Noblesse more fondly than this amped-up version.

Bottled 66cl?
Thanks to bierkoning! Hazy orange color, small white head. Glueish ("overriped" pineapple), alcoholic-sweet fruity aroma. Medium to full-bodied. Fruity (apricot, peach) flavor with alcoholic feeling. Sea-buckthorn jam. No very drinkable. Original was not good either. This is quite different by flavor.
