Thanks to 77ships. I loved this beer. Pours blond, white head. Aroma is yeastery, cereal, and hoppy. Taste is light sweetness with citrus hops long finish and some fruity yeastery notes. Very nice.

Bottle. [thanks feldthaus]
Pours light muddy orange with a super-lovely, creamy white head. Super duration and lovely laces. Aroma has apples, grapefruit, grass, crisp malts and mild esters. Highish carbonation, dry and fairly light oily palate. Fat, crisp maltiness at first, then fresh grass, pine, grapefruit, floral and light peppery hops. Lovely floral dryness in the finish.

Flat-bottomed 660ml bottle. Fine-headed, heaped, spiralling orange..and that’s before it’s even left the bottle. Wafts aromatically with coriander-peppered wine gum; grain, blackcurrant, candied orange, lavender, a little urinal- a sackful of resonant, fresh, floral hops basically. Taste: cream zested with lemon, botanicals, juniper, sugared marmalade. Lean, floral and biting with a perfectly judged, sweet malt base. Bittersweet and perfumed. Another beauty from De Dochter.

660ml bottle at home. Pale orange with a medium slightly off-white soapy head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Medium sweetness with medium to high bitterness (especially in its finish). Citrus, herbs, grass, some tangerine and orange peel. A very well balanced brew.

Draught @ OBM’11: Big vast creamy head on top of a clear orange colored beer. Smell honey, hops, fruit, pear, citrus, abricot. Taste fruits, orange, tangerine, pine, yeast, hops, malts, bitter. Nice bitter aftertaste. Low carbo, medium body, soft mouthfeel and a light watery/creamy texture.

Clear amber golden colour, firm, fluffy white head. Aroma of malts, light apple, toast, light spicy yeast, light hops, pine, ginger (stemgember). Nice, but relatively light aroma. Quite bitter flavour, sweet malty, light mineral taste. Mineral finish, bitter hops, sweet malts, moderately long finish.
Somewhat less pronounced hops as in previously tasted bottles of XO. Seemingly somewhat older. Lovely allrounder now though.

Golden/orange colored pour. Big off-white head with plenty of lacing. Huge malty aroma with a big grapefruit note. Smells like a delicious barleywine. Taste is a malt and orange flavor. Very good.
