660ml bottle @ Maunula beer tasting. From Saveur Biere.

Cloudy yellow outfit with small white head. Sour aroma and taste. Some overdone fruits too. Good start for the day but nothing special.

Another special Noblesse edition matured on ’jenever’ barrels and refermented in the bottle for a very long time before being put onto the market. Thin, creamy, off-white head, deep golden blonde colour. Complex aroma of apple, lemon, apricot, wood, gin, hay, caramel; fruity sweetish taste with light sourness, drying, smooth caramel malts, oaky finish with indeed a hint of jenever, dry and quite complex.

Heller, hefig hopfiger Beginn, mild, wenig fruchtig. Das bittet bleibt hell, wenig intensiv, nur leicht hefig. Laff, trocken, ok. 10/9/9/9//7

Thanks to Rian for sharing! Nose is very floral, the gin is there! The beer starts with lots of Gin, hints of wood. The mainpart is very smooth, the Gin-spirit-note is omnipresent, quite dominating, but it fits in very well.
Quite nice and interesting combination. 12/12/13/13

Pours a bright yellow with an off white head. The smell is juniper, sweet light malt, fruit. The taste follows the nose, a bit of booze flavor, dry and slightly bitter. The body is light and silky.

Nice blond beer, which a spicy taste of juniper and with a slight glow of the aging. Decent, it’s a bit too simple.

A golden beer with an almost medium, dense and white head. Complex mix of the fruits in the aroma, citrusfruits and mandarin, spices, dry barrel. Taste of (overdone) fruits and mandarin, barrel, hint of fruit liquor. Some alcoholic notes in the end even the low alcohol %. Medium bodied, low carbonation, surprisingly, sticky to drink. A barrel is dominating too much and that’s not a very good thing. Not so fresh as the original Noblesse and there are even some alcohol in the taste. Quite OK despites of the some criticism, barrelled fruits.

Leicht trübes goldgelbes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht fruchtig, säuerlich. Geschmack malzig, leicht trocken fruchtig, leicht hefig, bitter.

660 ml bottle. Rated on 11.4.2014. Pours a hazy orange colour with a white head. Aroma is very sweet with notes of apricot, white grapes and some harsh grainy notes. Flavour of sweet maltiness, wood, apricot, mild bitterness, yeast and spiciness. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. Way too sweet for this style.
