Bottle at Emelisse Oktoberfest 2010. Simple brew, yet with some nice Belgian hops and a smooth texture. Nice clean bitterness. Decent brew.

Bottle @ Willems, Belgium. BB 08/10. Consumed 10/10. Pours cloudy golden with a lasting thick white head and lacings. Nose is yeasty and floral. Citrus and a bit of spicy yeast. Very dry and spicy flavor. Quite floral and hoppy. Lively carbonation. Medium bodied.

Bottled 330ml (Beer Planet, BB 08/2010)
Hazy orange color, big cloudy white head. White peppery spicey and wheaty nose. Medium-bodied. Front is quite peppery and yeasty, then bitterness and some honeyish fruityness. Some unclean yeast? Peppery and yeasty wit.

Cornfield (5570) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - SEP 5, 2010
Bottle from Binny’s Beverage Depot, Orland Park, IL: This poured a golden yellow body with a respectable head but left little lace. The aroma was a light malty sweetness, some soft fruit, and a trace of floral scents. The flavor added a soft citric bitterness. Not a very complex beer, but quite drinkable.

vyvvy (4580) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - SEP 4, 2010
Pours clear yellow/golden with a small white head. The aroma has pale malt, dustiness, must, light chalk, Belgian golden ale yeastiness and hints of banana and pear. Medium / full smooth body with some fairly sharp carbonation. The taste starts like the aroma, but drier and a touch of pepper. There is a light lemony citrus on the finish along with some powderiness. Very enjoyable beer.

jtclockwork (10443) - , New Jersey, USA - AUG 29, 2010
Bottle at Max’s. Pours clear yellow with white head. Nose of lager yeast, grass and pepper. Weird. Taste is more of what I’d expect: Belgian yeast, lemon and farmhouse funk.

durhambeer (2500) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUN 18, 2010
Bottle from Bruisin’ Ales in Asheville. Pours bright hazy golden with huge foamy white head. Nose shows crisp grassy hops, fresh hay, bright lemons, and some hints of sourness. Tastes is the same, with added notes of raw almonds (the malt, perhaps) and lemony Brett sourness. Bit of white pepper and oak. Maybe there is a high degree of bottle variation, but I think this is much better than it’s ratings suggest... a cheaper cousin to Orval. Excellent.

wedgie9 (2504) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 17, 2010
Tasted from 11.2oz bottle. Pours pale golden with a thin and quickly receding white head. Nose is slightly sour with mint, indistinguishable fruitiness, and some dusty and hoppy notes. Flavors are apricot, dustiness, wheat, and slightly bitter hops. The body is light with medium carbonation and a medium plus, bitter finish.

Appearance golden , touch of amber , mid plus creamy top with some lace.3+
Flavor and Palate : easy going , soft textures. Silky yet clean in a way, Slight hop notes around. Refreshing ,session like. Pleasant brew.
