Pours a cloudy amber color with a white head. Aroma is grainy with some Belgian yeast and some toasted malts. Flavor is toasted malts with other grains and a hint of yeast.

Bottle in Amsterdam. Pours hazy gold with a foamy, white head. Caramel, grass, orange citrus and yeast on the nose. Sweet flavor with candi sugar, bits of yeast and light, grassy bitters. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Grass and some sugar in the finish with some more yeast and light caramel. Nice beer.

Smells a bit like wort. Tastes a bit boring, but not bad. Thick mouthfeel. Slighly watery.

Poured into a wide-mouthed abbey glass. Appearance is clear amberish gold with a one finger head. Aroma is sour cherries with sweet tarts and hints of citrus peel, hay, and slightly detectable funk. Taste is sweet funky barnyard, cherries, light grain, and a long citrusy, bitter finish. Body is medium-full with lively carbonation, finishes super super dry with sourness and lasting fruitiness. Overall, this is probably the best saison I’ve ever had, just as complex as it is dry and thirst-quenching.

Light golden color with a teeny white head. Slight aroma of grassy hops and spicy yeast. Pretty dull all around but fit the bill at 11:00am. Nothing terribly offensive here, just lacks any interesting qualities.

Shared bottle at Kaisla, Helsinki. Poured hazy pale brown and orange in colour with whitish head. Mostly yeasty and some faint fruityness in aroma. Light maltyness with mostly yeast in flavour.

Bottle @Kaisla, Helsinki. Poured hazy golden with thin head. Something probably wrong with this bottle, mostly yeast in both aroma and flavor. Hint of caramel maybe. Could not finish it. Have to retry.

Tap at Paradiso Dupont. The pour is a full cloudy, glowing bright gold with really no head wanting to form. No retention/lace. Nose up front is muted and soapy. As it warms it gains melons and summer fruits- mostly sweet pineapple like pineapple upside down cake. Taste at first is really soapy with detergent and mouthfeel similar to scented baby powder. As it warms, thankfully, it moves to some seriously sharp grassy and herbal hops. Overall it ends up coming across as watered grapefruit juice with a powdery palate. Weird, but interesting.
