Refreshing blond ale, but not a great ale. Aroma very yeasty, but a clean taste.

660 ml bottle.
Pours a golden colour with a large frothy head. Aroma of peach, grains, dust and mild citrus. Flavour of pale malts, grains, juicy peach, grassy bitterness and mild metallic notes. Light bodied, fizzy carbonation and a grassy peachy finish. Carbonation is a bit too high for me, but other than that a nice golden ale.

660ml bottle at home. Hazy yellow with a full white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Sweet with bitter hoppy notes and some acidic feel. Citrus, grass and malts. A decent Belgian ale.

Bottle from ABC Drinks Leuven. Drank in the Begijnhof. Grainy, malty nose, bready, with nice hops too, some lemon and grass. Some orange. Very solid malts. Deep gold with tints of orange. Rich and thick, malty, bready, fruity. Good hoppy flavor and bitter finish to balance. Quite heavy and creamy. Interesting. Nice tastes but a bit too heavy for me.

A typical Belgian blond beer. Yeasty, a bit hoppy, grassy and a smooth sweetness. Not that special, apparently, you must have one of these in your gamma if you’re a Belgian brewer.
