Bottle. Bright golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is quite smoky and well spiced, and the flavour is bitter and strongly malty and spiced with a very bitter sweet after taste. Overall quite a disappointing beer.

Draft @ ’t Brugse Beertje.

33 cl bottle - bottled August 2008 - BBD August 2011. Pours slightly hazy bright yellow with a thin white head. Nose is malty, grassy, honey (bit of oxydation due to age but certainly not disturbing). Medium body with nice carbonation levels, light flavour intensity but a nice balance between sweet and bitter. Flavour is sweet acacia honey and some grassy notes as well.

from Erzbierschof - pours a hazy blond beer under a hugely foamy white head; the aroma is yeasty, dusty and grapefruity; fairly carbonated and with a medium malt backbone, some bitterness on top of a moderate sweetness; the finish is slightly almondy with more yeasty and fruity notes - elegant yet not really interesting

10/III/2012 33cl bottle @ De Gentse Biervereniging: brewers visit: dDvdK - BB: n/a (2012-226)

Little cloudy yellow beer, creamy yellowish head, pretty stable, adhesive. Aroma: sweet malty, honey, grapes, some oranges and grapefruit. MF: good carbon, full body, creamy texture. Taste: fruity start, some peaches, citrus, herbal bitter hops, grains. Aftertaste: some citrus, bitter hops, spices, grassy. Lots of flavour for such a low ABV.

Bottle. A very pretty hazy bright yellow beer with huge head and good lace. Quite aromatic citrus, grains, and hay. Taste is moderately sweet matly and bitter with notes of yeast, lemon pith, and juniper, and anise. Super soft texture with some yeasty chalk tingle in the back of throats. Fairly astringent other than being over carbonated and erupting from the bottle this is lovely super velvety hoppy yeast goodness.

Pours medium golden, cloudy. Flavour is overly yeasty, which made for a rather heavy, sour taste left in my mouth. A fairly unremarkable beer.

Looks like a very nice beer, nice hoppy smell to it. It’s well balanced, happy with a slide bitter taste (not to much). There is a spicy aftertaste (like a Triple) that last a bit, but it isn’t overpowering. This is a very good beer for just 5,5 % alc.
