Bottle served in tulip: Pours a nice clean golden hue with a fluffy head and very good lace. The aroma has notes of pils and wheat grains, some herbal and piney hops, a dash of apple skins, a bit of earthy minerals and fresh oak. The taste is mostly yeast and malt overtones displays lovely restrained earthy yeast note to pair against the minimal hop bitterness. Lots of pils malt which is nice. The mouth feel is properly carbonated, refreshing and slightly dry. I like this more than I expected, a very nice near session ale. I will try again.

UPDATED: MAY 23, 2015 Bloemig aroma. Goudgeel bier met moutige en hoppige smaak en licht bittertje. Ondanks de 5,5 % alcohol is dit een bier met karakter. Waarlijk een dochter van de korenaar.

330ml bottle from Saveur-Biere.fr. Another good one from the docter. Pours hazy amber with moderate white head. Fruity yeast esters with a sweetish character and soft bitter finish.

Bue en bouteille de 33cl. Blonde peu corpulente. CO2 moyen. Bière légère en générale avec finale à peine acide sur le citron.

Bottle 33cl from Bierhalle de Coninck, @ home. Light golden color, thin white head. Aroma is a bit hidden, some peach, grains. Taste of grains also, cereals. Slightly bitter and dry. Aftertaste very similar to the mouthfeel when you chew a stick of licorice. Good beer for sunny days.

330 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 9/2016. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy bright orange color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, apricot, melon, pear, apple, pepper, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, apricot, melon, pear, apple, pepper, cracker, bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Good amount of earthy bitterness/yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, apricot, melon, pear, apple, pepper, cracker, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt flavors; with a crisp malt/yeast/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice hoppy Belgian pale ale style. All around good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Clear golden colour with a small-medium bit creamy looking white head. Aromas of dried orange peel, barnyard, light dusty, hints of toasted brioche and brett develop on the nose. Soft carbonation with a öight slick texture and amedium body. Light herbal sweetness with some light bitterness developing, nicely balanced. Finish has a good momentum.
