COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Arabier is a pure malt beer brewed with flower Nugget-hops from Poperinge. It has the special dry-hopping taste and aroma, so appreciated by beer lovers all over the world. It is one of the two main beers from De Dolle Brouwers available throughout the year. Aging time is limited due to the fact that hop bitterness declines with age. Store arabier cool and dark and serve cool at 10°C.

33cl bottle. Hazy blond color, lots of carbonization and a big white rocky head that leaves some nice lacing. Aroma is very hoppy with some floral touches, malt and spices. Taste is malty with again a nice hop taste and a nice dry bitterness that stays for some time. Mouthfeel and carbonization are good and the drinkability is very good. Overall a nice brew.

bionda ambrata, gusto leggermente agrumato. all’inizio decisamente maltosa,ma poi subentra un gusto molto secco e l’aroma molto intenso e luppolato.

Golden ale with a huge white head. Aroma’s of grass, pine, citrus, geuze lambic tones and old books. Medium bodied, quite peppery in the mouth with hints of sour apples, apricot brandy, popperinge hops indeed. Finish is dry and warming. Lovely brew.

Golden pour with huge, white head. Aroma of grass, hay, honey, a bit of dust. Flavor is fruity, dry, strong hop presence in the back of the throat. Actually, pretty surprisingly bitter. some alcohol. Flowers, black pepper, some citrus. Very dry finish. Bubbly, belgian mouthfeel. Really, really good beer.

Hadn’t had an old school belgian for a while, and remebering my fondness for the Dolle Brouwers I picked up a botle of this to rate. So, pours pale golde with an incredible bright white head that has a life of its own, trying it’s best to erupt and climb out of the glass! Aroma is a little dusty and rustique, but at the same time still quite crisp. Lots of fruitiness to the fore with light hops and herbal undertones and spicy yeast also an almost sherried note or two most probably from the alcohol, and also a funkyness typical of the Dolle people. Flavour is lovely and easy going, some banana, tropical fruits, passion fruit, yeast, and a great bit of bite from the hops which emerge in the mids and take you through the finish which ends bitter and earthy almost. Alcohol is present and warming, but totally under control. Great spicy notes running through the whole affair. This really is a lesson in how to make excellent blond beer, I mean it’s quaffable and quintessentially Belgian but all it’s beauty is crafted into it’s subtle undertones, you could easily guzzle the whole thing and not notice the craftsmanship, but if you take a little time to appreciate it you are rewarded. Lovely well made Belgian.

(bottle - 330 ml) Cloudy gold pour with a ton of white foam. Nearly overflowed. Aroma is yeasty with mild spice but a very noticeable hop presence as well. Some good citrus and flower notes come through at the end. Flavor is very bitter, hoppy, and astringent at the beginning with a hefty amount of flower and pepper notes at the middle. Some bitter citrus and hop flavors come through at the end with a pretty heavy alcohol burn. Citrus and pear notes linger on the palate at the end.
