Jan 12, 2008 From a 330mL Bottle. Gusher. Pours a somewhat hazy, straw gold color with a huge layer of fizzy white head. It actually appears to be clearing up a bit as it warms, which is interesting because it appeared crystal clear in the bottle before I put it in the fridge, but developed quite the chill haze during the cooling process. Herbal, spicy hop aroma that’s decorated with some delicate black peppercorn yeasty spice and herbal coriander. Light bodied, crisply carbonated mouthfeel. Lightly sweet, bready malt flavors up front on the palate, followed by a wave of the signature, De Dolle yeast spice. Finishes exceptionally dry, with a lingering hop bitterness leaving a pine residue on the palate.

Jan 10, 2008 Bottle at La Trappiste in Altrincham, huge head. Like my mate warry, enormous bonce. Very good. Undertones of smoke but with a sweet candy floss kind of thing going on. I liked it.

Jan 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy yellow orange, white head. Aroma is malt, graham cracker, grass, pine. Flavor is the same but rides beneath a very smoky "exterior". Quite unique, a pleasant surprise.

Jan 7, 2008 Hazy golden with large long lasting head. Yeasty aroma with spicy notes and orange peel. Sweet flavor with yeast, coriander and hops. Ends dry and bitter.

Jan 5, 2008 Orangey hazy colour with big head. Aroma is yeasty and spicey with some herbs and earth tones. Slightly hoppy and spicey throughout with an underlying sweetness and sugary taste.

Jan 4, 2008 Poured out a deep golden brown with a HUGE thick white head. Aroma was yeasty and spicy with a bit of booze. Taste is somewhat bitter and actually attempts to balance out the sweet yeasty flavor of this brew. Slight sourness of lemon in there as well. I noticed lots of floaties and yeast and stuff in this beer.

Dec 31, 2007 Pours a massive, rocky white head above a hazy gold elixir. There are some particulates settling to the bottom of the glass. Very sweet and floral nose of greean apple/pear, rich caramel, bubblegum yeast and floral hops. The taste is far more bitter than the aroma would suggest and the finish is very dry. A caramel malt backbone is overlain with sharp, fragrant hops, spice, light fruits and white grapes. The mouthfeel is highly effervescent and velvety smooth.
