Commercial Description:
Arabier is a pure malt beer brewed with flower Nugget-hops from Poperinge. It has the special dry-hopping taste and aroma, so appreciated by beer lovers all over the world. It is one of the two main beers from De Dolle Brouwers available throughout the year. Aging time is limited due to the fact that hop bitterness declines with age. Store arabier cool and dark and serve cool at 10°C.

[755-20071013] 330mL (w/ jerc). Sour yeast funk aroma with processed grains. Hazy, orange brown body with a big long-lasting foamy off-white head. Boozy Belgian yeast flavour has a grainy background, toasted malt finish and a slight sour tang. Medium body. Not terrible.

Pours orange, moderate mouth feel. Aroma is rather spicy. Flavor is citrus with some banana and spices. Somewhat sweet. De Dolle impresses again!

Hazy golden color with thick, creamy head and thick lacing. Gigantic yeast aroma with bananas, lemons, orange, taste is similar with sweet and sour tangerine, nutty malt, a bit spicy. Extremely carbonated but I don’t have a problem with that.

The aroma of this beer was much better than the flavor, which was overpowered by the champagne-like carbonation. The aroma had a ton of bubblegum and malt, but the flavor was very dampened by the dry carbonation. Most of what was noticeable on the palate was the dry aftertaste. Tria, Philadelphia

Golden with small white head. Aroma is super bubble-gummy with sweet fruit. Taste is dry, with distinct apples and pears. Carbonation is vigorous, perhaps bordering on severe, which serves to underscore the dry woody character of the finish. $5/11.2oz

This was a gusher, but didn’t taste infected. Bottle opened up with foam inching out of the bottle, and poured mostly head. Aroma was just amazing, nice fruits and light malts and hops. Flavor was similar with some spices and stronger malts. Really good...wish more of it wouldn’t have been wasted on overflowing head.

Copper pour, huge white head that stays big the whole time. Aroma is vinegar, orange, belgian gueze like yeast, straw and spicy. Flavor is sweet with lots of honey sweetness a touch of caramel, hay, grassy and bready. A touch of yeasty sourness, a good amount of hop bitterness, spiciness and citrus throughout. Complex flavor, full body and lots of lively carbonation.
