There are some breweries wherefrom you can’t do anything wrong choosing their beers to drink. "De Dolle Brouwers" is one of them. And also the "Arabier" didn’t disappoint me. It’s a blonde-golden hazy beer with a beautiful white lacing uneven (= beautiful) head, that becomes a thin but lasting head. The smell is hoppy, herbal and a bit fruity. The taste is like I expected it: very good. You have a hoppy and malty taste, accompanied with a herbal, spicy taste, finishing light bitter. Nice carbonation also. I have the feeling I already drunk such a type of beer, but the "Arabier" is certainly one of the best versions of this type! DerWeg (756), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 1/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Sep 3, 2009 Almost a tripel in some ways. Pours hazyblonde-gold with a nice looking low sticky white head. Aroma yeast and fruit and citrus. Taste of grapes and citrus and hops, Herbal and peppery feel, substantial, the ample carbonation feels great This beer pairs majestically with fresh green grapes and I’m betting Arabier was intentionally made a little hoppy-dry to go well with food. Outstanding. evergreen0199 (259), London, Greater London, England

Bitter, lemon, dry, almost sour taste. Not a fan of this one but I do love De Dolle Brouwers. obguthr (1010), Poquoson, Virginia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 30, 2009 Smells of vinegar and acetone. Cloudy golden, thick white head, some lacing. Bitter flavor of pears, yeast, and pilsnery hops, with a faint touch of must. Parsley finish. Too much carbonation to drink directly from the bottle. I’ve had much better. jmm635 (254), Havertown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 12, 2009 330 mL gusher. Pours a hazy light orange with a two-finger, extremely pillowy, white head that has excellent retention and lacing. Wow this looks beautiful. Aroma is sour apples, peaches, Brett, candi sugar, lemon zest, some funk. Taste is a bit of a letdown: some creamed corn, grainy malt, maize, millet, but also some dry saison-like citrus and potpourri flavors and some black pepper. Perhaps an infected bottle?
