May 21, 2006 Pours hazy light golden with an effervescent body and a huge foamy off-white head. Aroma of peaches, melons, bubble gum, candied fruits, with a bulk of hoppy notes of citrus and spruce. Taste is herbal, flowery hops with a bit of a soapy resinous quality. The fruity notes present in the aroma stick around in the taste, but are more subdued and mixed with notes of toasted malt and several dimensions of hoppiness. This beer has hop flavors of sour citrus and spruce trees. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a mild hoppy resinous quality and a warming alcohol sensation. Very nice beer and the hop character tastes quite fresh. I’m impressed. I would like to get several of these to age. It will be interesting to see what this beer becomes once the hops have subdued.

May 10, 2006 a belgian strong by the De Dolle Brouwers that is lacking in complexity...cloudy, hazy orangish yellow appearance with massive, growing head...aroma and flavor were essentially the same; dominant in yeast, lemon, grass, and honey...some herbal and floral notes...nothing too special here

May 4, 2006 Lovely straw colored haze in the glass with a lively bright white head. There is a touch of orange blossom honey on the nose blending nicely with notes of dandelion and hay. The weight of this beer is brilliant with a soft, round texture and medium body. However, the hops are the main attraction here, providing plenty of bite and a crisp summery finish.
