COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Arabier is a pure malt beer brewed with flower Nugget-hops from Poperinge. It has the special dry-hopping taste and aroma, so appreciated by beer lovers all over the world. It is one of the two main beers from De Dolle Brouwers available throughout the year. Aging time is limited due to the fact that hop bitterness declines with age. Store arabier cool and dark and serve cool at 10°C.

Unusual strong Belgian blond beer. Body of sweetish yeast, with a very nice dry bitterness. Notes of flowers and spices as well.

11.2 ounce bottle dated April 2012. Poured into a La Trappe chalice. Pours a translucent gold with a thick, velvety head of white foam. The aroma is grassy, peppery, mildly fruity, and has a nice orange zest thing going on that I’m enjoying. The grassy notes are also a fun little twist. Fairly light and refreshing on the palate. Sweeter initially, but dries out and has a rounding bitterness to the finish. Not what I was expecting, but in the best of ways.

Dorée trouble, effervescence forte, mousse très abondante. Amertume houblonnée et herbeuse, bonnes notes d’agrumes, un rien de poivre. Classique mais des plus agréable.

Ar: Juicy peach and tart citrus - some hay and herbal hops. Ap: Clear straw gold, with some yeast particulates - large white head with good retention and chunks of foam left on the side of the glass as it recedes. T: Bitter orange and ripe peach - clean alcohol and herbs - medium bitterness, with a very herbal flavor - clean, sweet cracker malt - juicy fruit and lingering bitterness on the finish. P: Medium-light body with very high carbonation - finish is very dry. O: Great fruity esters going on, and a tasty background maltiness - austere hop profile that really carries through to the finish - very nice.

Served on tap in a tulip Aroma is terrific. Citrus, hops, yeast, maybe a bit of paper? Appearance- golden and hazy. Very nice frothy head with lots of lacing. Very attractive looking beer. Taste is slightly bitter and a little sour. Texture is thin to medium. Slightly bitter finish. Appropriately long. Overall this is a very well are beer. Would definitely drink it again.
