Arabier is a pure malt beer brewed with flower Nugget-hops from Poperinge. It has the special dry-hopping taste and aroma, so appreciated by beer lovers all over the world. It is one of the two main beers from De Dolle Brouwers available throughout the year. Aging time is limited due to the fact that hop bitterness declines with age. Store arabier cool and dark and serve cool at 10°C.

From XXXII. In La Trappe glass. Playing KB Dark Side. Another good brew from the de dolle. More soft than the other ive tasted and a bit less impressive, but good nonetheless

Pours cloudy pale gold with lots of particulate on full white head, good retention and lacing. (3/5) Nose is complex: citrus, banana, floral, candi sugar, light earth and brett barnyard funk. (8/10) Taste is moderate sweet, moderate bitter, mild funk. (7/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, off-dry mildly boozy and lingering brett bitter finish. (4/5) The appearance on this one is probably bad as a result of rough handling - the seal got broken during transport today, and half the bottle had spilled, but I figured I might as well salvage the remainder. An interesting combination of floral notes, presumably from the nugget hops, and earthy and brett notes. (15/20)

Tried in bottle. Bought at Tribaun, Austria. Colour is hazy amber/orange. Huge thick white head, great retention. Aroma is candy, straw, banana, yeasty and slightly antiseptic. Taste is similar with citrus, and a bitter/sweet balance that I like a lot. Nice dry bitter finish. Has a slight antiseptic flavour hidden in there too but overall nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Kihoskh. Exactly 1 year old. Golden orange, hazy from sediment, huge soapy bubbly off white head, good dense lacings. Fruity spicy hoppy aroma, though muddled from the aging, belgian yeast, white bread, oranges, orange peel, green banana, some peach, cucumber. Flavour holds lots of oranges, carambola, green banana, white bread, yeast, hay and zest. Just a pinch of marzipan. The end is dry. Medium to full bodied, big round mushy carbonation, soft texture. It’s very good. Feels like a lighter version of Westmalle Triple. Almost... And one year of age didn’t put it to shame at all.

Godne polecenia!

Bottle to a pint ... Hazy light hold. Ample foamy white head. Some fresh straw and barnyard funk ... Flavors are similar with a dry tangy sour finish. Nice beer!

Bottle from Kris Wines. Colour is murky cloudy amber, big head. Nose is a bit bonkers. Lemon, citrous sour, farmyard, manure, musty barley grain, lot of Brett funk, grass and straw, pineapple. Taste is Brett yeasty, lemon and citric acidic, farmyard, manure, funky, musty grain, barley gratin, earthy, lime and some tropical notes. It tastes like there’s some sorachi ace in their somewhere

Gusher! Very strong smell and taste of T.CP. I thinks it is off. Such a shame as I was looking forward to another classic from De Dolle Brouwers.
