Arabier is a pure malt beer brewed with flower Nugget-hops from Poperinge. It has the special dry-hopping taste and aroma, so appreciated by beer lovers all over the world. It is one of the two main beers from De Dolle Brouwers available throughout the year. Aging time is limited due to the fact that hop bitterness declines with age. Store arabier cool and dark and serve cool at 10°C.

Bottle at Cerveceria Oldemburg, march 07. Cloudy golden color with a huge, foaming, white head. Pickles, vinegary, salty aroma. Sweet-sour flavor,, complex sweet sourness with an overwhelming tettnanger-like , grassy hop finnish. Light to medium MF, quaffable, effervescent. Complex, nice, but a bit too much in some moments.

Cloudy orange color, huuuge off white head. Medium body, soft carbonation. Aroma of malts, citrus, grape, orange, pear, spices, yeast. Medium sweet, light bitter taste. Interesting, very fruity BSA, although it seems more like a tripel to me.

2009 bottle pours a cloudy golden brown with thin bubbly off-white head. Aroma is big on caramel makes, hint of acetic sour. Taste is balanced malty sweetness with just a hint of sir and big dark fruit back end. For being 5 years old, this is amazing.

Bottle 0,33l, bought at Beer Paradise in Palmanova (Italy). Hazy orange liquid with giant foam. Medium body, light carbonation. Heavy sourness, spices (nutmeg, cloves), some fruits like overriped grapes. Strange one.

Pours a golden slightly unclear beer with a good bubbling white head. Smells fruity, sweet and floral. Tastes floral, parfum and sweet. Average carbo, medium body and a sticky texture.

2014 bottle @ home, thanks to Lukaduke. Pours a cloudy orange appearance with a huge, fluffy cream colored head. Aroma has apple, light banana, toast, white pepper, and pretty heavy floral notes. Pretty enticing. Chewy, doughy mouth feel. Medium full body. Medium light sweetness. Medium high bitterness. Some citrus, apple, pear fruity notes in the flavor. The yeast is just a touch spicy. Finish floral and dry and without any boozy notes. Great beer.

There’s a bottled on date on the cap but unfortunately, it was partially cutoff...July 201 It pours an orange colour with a huge and growing head of foam. Lots of bubble action going on. The nose is very bitter and hoppy up front suggesting bitter fruit like orange and possibly grapefruit. The taste is very nice indeed. Power packed with a tasty bitterness of orange zest which reminds me of blood orange kind of bitter. I truly do not get any sort of sweet notes so maybe this is what a fresher bottle brings to the table? Anywho, the somewhat extreme bitterness is working for my palate. As it warms, I do get light spice as in clove and maybe, it will make a turn towards the malt when it gets closer to room temp. Medium bodied with lively carbonation, this is another fine brew from De Dolle.

I was very disappointed with this beer, as De Dolle is normally excellent. It felt like a nice pale lager or pilsner of sorts; not what I was expecting. Body is watery and the aromas are a bit skunky. Maybe I had a bad bottle but I don’t think I did................

Tap. Extremely dry. Nicely spiced. Very bitter. Maybe a little too bitter. Thumbs up.

(Tap) Beautiful beer. Nice spicy aroma. The flavor is quite nice but too bitter! Quite dry. I’d be very interested in trying other beers from this brewery.

Tap. Pours hazy golden, huge creamy off white head, dissipates slowly, great lacing. Aroma is yeast, honey, grass, pepper, orange zest. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter, grassy, a but of citrus, lots of spicy yeast. Lightish body. A bit of graininess. Decent.
