Fantomas23 (462), Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA Feb 19, 2007 Fascinating De Dolle fizz. Straw colored. Smells of honey and Fresca. Golden fruits: apples, pears, apricots (dried), raisins. Spicy hops, cinnamon fire and musty nutmeg. An unsurprisingly good beer.
Belgisk_Olklub (220), Viby J, Denmark Aug 21, 2008 Bottle. Large frothy white head with excellent lacing. Hazy orange/yellow body. Aroma of herbs, celery and coriander. Spiced. Medium/full body, oily texture, lively carbonation and a bitter finish. The flavor is moderate sweet and heavy bitter - for bitter på den ufede måde. Borresteijn (456), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 21, 2008 Bottle @ Café Gollem. Hazy yellow colour with a big white head, lots of carbonation. Aroma of yeast, fruits, malts and hops. Flavour is yeast, sour, fruity, bitter. Carbonation ruins the flavours a bit. No ordinary beer, but not outstanding. badlizard (1430), San Diego, California, USA Aug 17, 2008 Hazy yellow with a foamy white head.
